The CargoSmart LED Hybrid Ramp is a unique polymer construction ramp. It features a patent S-Curve design which provides a smooth continuous high traction surface. It also features LED lights that illuminate threads when the ramp is unfolded. The lights automatically turn off when the ramp is not in use and in its folded position. The folding feature allows for easy storage.

This ramp is primarily designed for motorcycles ATVs heavy lawn equipment, etc. it has LED lighting and will support 900 pounds. I got this primarily for my old dog, because it is longer and has less of an incline than the traditional dog ramps. Also the lights will help with loading and unloading. This ramp operates on four AA batteries for LED lights.

These are so cool! They are compact and easy to transport since they fold. They can go into a basement storage without needing the full compartment width on the travel trailer. Use the safety straps to wrap around the ramp and keep them shut so they don’t flop open—see the accompanying photo.
The lighting is neat. 8 AA batteries are needed per ramp. I like that the lights turn on automatically when unfolded, but I’d really like an auto-off feature so the ramps can stay secured to the loading deck instead of needing to fold them to turn off the lights.
Overall a fantastic ramp with great traction, nice welds, very sturdy, and a very cool lighted runway. It will support any quad and the 2-seater side-by-sides, and just about any mower (750 lbs per ramp weight rating, so 1500 lbs for this pair).
I don't know if I've ever seen my husband more impressed with a product than he is with these CargoSmart ramps. He has done a lot of hauling and used different types of ramps and these are the best ones yet for lighter weight implements, ATVS and appliances. They are totally unique in that they come folded in half. This feature serves two functions: 1. compact storage and 2. controls the on and off of the runway LED lights. That's right! These ramps have installed LED lights up and down each side. So much easier to load or unload during twilight or after dark. The dual-arch design makes the loading and unloading much more comfortable because of better control. They have total traction throughout. What a great product! Hopefully, there is a way to make these ramps stronger to accommodate vintage tractors. That would make them perfect for my husband. WELL DONE CargoSmart!!

This Cargo Smart loading ramp is made well with aluminum and a composite material and each ramp weighs 32 lbs. (This item consists of one CargoSmart ramp, but I have two ramps.) I like that the ramp folds in the center so the storage space needed is only 47"x12"x8". They are sturdy but not too heavy for me to lift, although I would have liked to have a handle to make carrying it a little easier. Each ramp has a loading capacity of 750 lbs. so the two ramps will hold 1500 lbs. of (evenly distributed). A locking tie-down strap is included to secure the ramp in place.
These ramps will come in handy for transporting my outdoor equipment for repairs or maintenance work. I don't have a truck, but they fit well on my trailer. There have also been times that I needed to get some equipment onto my back porch. These ramps will be appreciated at those times!
The ramp has an added feature of LED runway lights when it is dusk or dark when it is unfolded. The lights for each ramp are powered by (8) AA batteries which is advertised as being included ("Includes (8) AA batteries"). However, to my disappointment, they were not included and I do not currently have 16 batteries on hand to try this feature. I look forward to using the light feature in the future. An instruction sheet (in English and Spanish) comes taped to the back of the front label. It is engineered in the USA but made in China.

These loading ramps are a one-piece folding design that is extremely sturdy and reliable. Each ramp is a little under 30 lbs in weight and folds in half to make for easier storage. The curved S-shape provides an initial gentle slope to load larger wheeled items. Each ramp has two strips of LEDs running along its length that are powered by 8 AA batteries (not included) in a weather-protected box. The treads provide ample traction even if wet or muddy, reducing the risk of a vehicle sliding down accidentally. Each ramp also has a safety strap that can cinch to your vehicle (like the trailer hitch) to prevent them from falling off with forward or backward motion.
I hauled a trolley (6 seat) golf cart up the ramps and it was held easily without any signficant give even when parked in place off of the ground. The cart is much larger than what can fit in my truck bed but the ramps handled it with ease. Anything smaller such as an ATV, motorcycle, or ride on lawnmower would be simple. Really great product.

These ramps are fantastic. They are very stable due to their width and the curve helps when loading wheeled items. With my old ramps, I struggled to load and unload my 250lb+ generator by myself as the frame would hit the top of the ramps AND they would move a bit since the base wasn't very wide. This is no longer an issue with these ramps. Their sheer width, curved design, and integrated straps took care of all my issues. Sadly my ATV is a few hours away and I haven't been able to get out to where it is, but I imagine that loading it will be a breeze. It's worth mentioning that the top of my tailgate is 32" tall and the max height per the manual is 36".
Now, they do have some downsides. Despite being aluminum and plastic, they are relatively heavy and somewhat cumbersome to move around. Some kind of latch to keep them folded would be great! The integrated strap is decent, but it would be better if it had a ratcheting mechanism instead.
The lighting... Well, I thought it was a great idea at first and the LED strips are indeed pretty bright, but each ramp requires 8 batteries! To get to them you have to flip the ramp over and undo 6 small screws. The battery compartment seems like an afterthought - each is held on to the ramp with 2 small screws that are not flush with the base, so as a result, 2 of the batteries are slightly raised above the rest, which in turn causes the cover to somewhat bulge out. As mentioned, the LEDs are pretty bright, but on one of the ramps, a portion of one of the strips doesn't light up. The wiring is also a bit of a mess: it's unprotected and prone to damage. In addition to this, one of the connections has a cold solder, which causes all the lights on that ramp to flicker when you move around the wiring. Great idea, but sadly it's poorly executed.
All in all, I'm very happy with the ramps. The lighting, not so much.

These ramps are very sturdy and get the job done. The LED lights are bright, making them much more user friendly in early morning or after dark situations than normal ramps. They also fold up, so they are relatively convenient to store. However, they are a little heavier than I expected & the folding nature makes them a little awkward to maneuver. They're still perfectly manageable for one person to set up, but given the weight and the hinged design, you need to be careful so as to not get a finger or hand pinched. Also, it comes with two straps to secure the ramps to the truck, but even pulling it tight, the ramps still move some from side to side if bumped, so I'll be swapping those out for ratchet straps so I can cinch it up tighter. Lastly, each ramp takes eight AA batteries. The box said they were included, but they're not, so you'll want to pick those up ahead of time.

This is an excellent ramp. Very well designed and constructed. Folds easily in half and even includes an LED lighting system that lights up the ramp like a landing strip, so when you’re using it at night or dusk you have illumination to follow.
They are easy to fold and unfold and put in place. They come with securing straps to strap to bottom of vehicle and cinch tight so the ramps don’t move anywhere.
Check out the pictures to see these awesome ramps on the truck.
I didn’t put the batteries in yet so I can’t show you them lit up.
These ramps are well made and strong with a capacity of 750 lb. (340 kg) each. The materials are a polymer reinforced with aluminum and each weighs in at 32 lbs. The multi-material (hybrid?) ramp design is interesting, and I partially disassembled one end of a ramp section to confirm its construction. The curved aluminum frame consists of 11/16-inch X 2-inch aluminum extrusions with a ½-inch long fin and a wall thickness of .0747-inches, over which are slid polymer modules measuring almost 12-inches wide X 4-3/4-inches long, not including the overlapping ears. Each of the two sections have eight modules. The aluminum ramp plates and hinges have two tabs that slide into the aluminum extrusions and are secured with M10, Grade 3 bolts with locknuts. All the strength is in the aluminum extrusions. See photos. The fasteners and hinges are steel.
The ramps are sold individually so two will be required for four-wheel vehicles. Each ramp is nominally 12” wide X 90” long—actual dimensions are just under 12-inches wide and 90 1/8-inches long. The effective ramp length is 86 ½-inches. Adjustable straps are included to secure the ramp to the truck or trailer. The polymer sections of the ramps have deep traction fins built in. The maximum loading height is specified as 36” above the ground. The manufacturer cautions against riding a vehicle up or down the ramp which means you need to push or winch the vehicle into the truck or trailer bed. (I have seen videos online of people riding mowers and ATVs up and down the ramps.) I was concerned that the “S” curved design would cause my mower deck to become high-centered or scrape on the ramp, but it worked fine. The upward curved section only rises 2-1/4-inches. I was also able to easily winch a concrete mixer up the ramps. These ramps are a major upgrade from my 2 X 8 X 8-footer bolted to ramp plates. (Coincidently, the ramp plates are from the same company and have served me well for many years.) I am not sure what the manufacturer means by “hybrid”, but each folding ramp has four, built-in LED light strips in two rows. The lights in each ramp are powered by eight AA batteries which the packaging says are included—but they are not. So, $6 later I learned that the LEDs provide a significant amount of illumination at night. Some users may find this more useful than I do, and I learned that the company offers an identical model without the lights at a lower price. Another option would be to have the LEDs powered off the plug-in trailer connector. The batteries are housed in a plastic box with a screw-down gasketed lid with six screws. One of my screws was missing so I contacted Customer Service…and after sending an email with a photo of the empty battery box screw hole, the CS person got back to me and said that a screw was on the way. She also confirmed that they no longer include batteries.
When the ramp is unfolded, a magnet on one section closes a reed switch in the other section that activates the lights. This will occur day or night so you should fold the ramps when not in use to conserve the batteries. My only criticism of the ramps is that the multiple small inter-connecting wires—I counted six--between the two sections of the ramp and the battery compartment are exposed and subject to potential damage. It seems like they should be bundled together and wrapped and secured for protection and a cleaner appearance. In addition, one wire was pinched between the hinge extrusion and the polymer module, sticking up past the surface. I was able to move the module away from the hinge extrusion and push the wire down, but it popped back up on the first use. See photos. The product is engineered in the USA but made in China.

I recently tweaked my back trying to get a hand truck up my front steps. After doing so I realized I needed a better way to move heavy things around. I selected these ramps as they can serve double duty for what I need. The perfectly fit over my front porch steps but also work great for loading things onto my trailer. I had to take my snow blower it to get serviced and it was so simple to just drive the blower right up the ramp.
The ramps are super sturdy and I didn't notice any flex while using them. While sturdy, the ramps are still easy to carry around and store. When folded, its simple for one person to carry around. The lights are a nice touch and are very bright. They turn on and off automatically when the ramp is unfolded. My one complaint though is the package clearly states the ramp comes with batteries, but mine did not. With each ramp needed 8 AA batteries, its a lot of new batteries.

This product is loading ramps for auxiliary vehicles and work equipment by CargoSmart. The ramps have an s-curve in the first few feet of the lower portion of the bi-fold track. They are a combination of an aluminum support frame with composite cross tread supports. Both ends of the ramp are aluminum, and can easily mar the surface on which they are placed, so a word of caution when using on an ROV bumper versus the tailgate of a pick-up truck. The units I reviewed were well built and heavily constructed. The delivery service severely damaged the shipping box but failed to inflict any damage to the ramps. A nice addition is the automatically activated LED guide lights along the sides of the tread area when the ramps are unfolded into operating position. The LEDs are powered by 8 AA batteries (included) in a weather resistant housing on the underside of the ramp. I like this feature when using them in low light conditions when I want to on/off-load my ATV. Instructions for safe use, safety inspection and maintenance are included in the packaging. I strongly encourage reading ALL instructions prior to use in order to familiarize oneself with proper securing of the ramp to the intended cargo carrier. The units are sold individually, so if you wish to load an ATV or use as a hand truck ramp, you must purchase 2. The weight capacity of a ramp is rated at 750 pounds. Exceeding the weight limit can and will damage the ramp. The dimensions of the ramp are 12” wide by 90” in length. My trial of this product was loading a lawn tractor onto a pickup bed for transport to the maintenance center. The setup of the ramps can be done by a single person. The tractor had traction across the entire length of the ramps. The angle posed no difficulty for the 17 horse powered unit to easily climb into the truck bed. After loading the tractor, there was sufficient room in the bed to transport the folded ramps in anticipation of easier off-loading at our destination. The units cleaned up easily with a power washer and car wash soap. They can alternatively be used as loading ramps on a trailer.

These ramps are perfect for a variety of loading tasks. They fold up to a relatively small size and extend to a length that allows them to work with a full size pickup. I think that their traction surface is one of their best features. My tiller has no problem climbing up the ramps into the truck even when the surface is a bit wet. I have not yet tested them on my motorcycle but they appear to be perfect for this also. I down graded the quality one number since one of the aluminum plates that cover the pivot point was welded in crooked. I had to grind off an edge so that the ramp could unfold and lock without a problem.

These are just great ramps. Even if the lights would stop working they are just really nice. Not to heavy but heavy enough that you don't feel like they will break. The contact switch for the light to go off works perfect. I think it uses more batteries than needed just to prolong life of the lights between battery swaps. I look forward to many years of use out of them.

Impressive set of aluminum type ramps! I got these for loading my 4-wheeler in the truck and loading my side-by-side on my trailer. They are made well and stronger than you would think. The surface is made where my tires do not slip, even on a steeper angle. They are easy to fold up and move, however, I wish there was some sort of handle when folded up to carry them easier. The automated on/off LED lighting is very nice, however, the battery case and mechanism is all plastic and may not hold up long term. I wish it was metal and better quality. The rest of the ramp is well made. When lit, It almost looks like an airport runway. I recommend these ramps, you will find many uses for them.

Just Roll It.
These ramps also have runway style LED lights, no tipping, no running off the side.
Made solid with a sturdy frame and sure grip style tread pattern that easily cleans. Don't worry about the grass or mud.
Durable and easy to use.
An essential must have for anyone who has had to move anything on wheels too heavy to lift easily.
Something everyone needs, Ramps.
And not just for pickups either. While I've used ramps with pickups for loading ATV or Riding mower.
I discovered that they are essential when is comes to anything on wheels that is too heavy or awkward to lift. Especially as you get older.
Ever buy an appliance and get it yourself rather than delivery? Well with this it's just a matter of using a hand truck to roll on and off the truck. Don't stop there. Use the same ramps to just roll it into the house.
Or come spring getting that grill on or off the porch. Many have experienced that, why not just roll it?
As far as not just for pickups, have a mower that needs servicing or a generator? Trying to lift in in the back of a vehicle could put you in the shop too.
Just roll it.
Make a great gift, as an upgrade for someone or make it easier for anyone who is active.

These aluminum and high strength plastic are strong, sturdy and stable. They weigh approximately 40 pounds, but fold for easier handling. The LED lights provide sufficient illumination for night time use, and the LED strip lights are powered by 8 AA batteries for each ramp, the ramps aluminum sections have strong welds as can be seen in the photo. A pair of contact switches turns the lights on when the ramp is opened and deployed. The aluminum plates on the end of ramps lay securely on the back of the trailer or truck bet with their curved surface adapting to the different heights of the carrying vehicle and the straight, flat tab engages with the ground or paved surface for an easy transition onto the ramps for a secure and safe loading.

Fantastic ramps for moving job site equipment, ATV or motorcycles. I'm getting to that age that lifting heavy stuff like generators, contractor saws, air compressors, pressure washers ... into the bed of the truck is getting harder and harder, so these ramps really are a back saver. If it has wheels, you can roll it up and into the bed. These ramps are a great size and capacity for these kinds of loads. They come as singles. Super simple to use, just unfold, set on the tailgate and attach the safety strap to the truck frame. The runway lights turn on automatically when you unfold them. The runway lights would make loading or unloading bikes or ATVs in the dark much safer and secure. A couple of suggestions to make these even better: the batteries for the lights are a bit of a pain - 8 AAs per ramp, plus six screws too small for a standard screwdriver - it would be great if instead of batteries you could plug into the trailer light harness on the truck ... it is right there. A place to hook the safety strap to keep the ramps folded when transporting or storing would be a great, simple addition. These ramps are great, I highly recommend them.

The Cargosmart loading ramps solve that problem with loading mowers and wheeled equipment into pickups. Their S shape eliminate the catch at the top of the ramp. No more getting hung up on the tailgate. Also, there is no sag in the middle of the ramp. Forward movement is prevented by the molded butt end. Slide is stopped by adjustable straps and the ramps sit flat so they don’t twist. This all adds up to a safe easy loading solution. You just can’t beat good stuff.

I got a set of these Cargo Smart 12 inch wide by 90 inch long S-curve loading ramps and I think they are very strong and well designed. The extra length helps keep my mower from bottoming out and makes for safe easy loading. They come with a bunch of led lights powered by batteries for night loading. The main strength is an aluminum frame which makes it light enough for me to handle. These ramps are also great for ATVs and motor cycles with enough strength for up to 750 lbs distributed weight per ramp.

I own a large snowblower and travel between several family members homes every storm. I also occasionally bring lawn mowers from one house to the other, so I needed something better than the economy ones I had that were so sharp and cut my fingers every time. These are just what I was looking for. They have a heavy aluminum frame with polymer treads. They are a bit heavier than I'm used to, about 30 lbs each but that's to be expected in order to support the weight. They also extend out 7.5' from the truck bed so the climb is not as steep as with other ramps. The safety straps are a great feature as well. My old ones just had safey chains, but they did nothing to keep the ramps in place. These hook to your truck, and then pull the ramps tight to the truck. Much more secure. The LED lighting is a nice feature but not a necessity.
