Love it! We were getting pouring rain but the sweater stayed dry and warm from light sprinkling. Made camping so comfortable. We are gluing our camping patches on them and we wanted something long lasting as we plan on in having these forever.

Loose fit means loose lol read the description,great hoodie had this one over three years before retiring it!hoodie saved my arm from serious burns and wife's car!ordered same exact hoodie to replace this one,I beat the snot out of my clothes building in all kinds of weather!

Accidentally left it in a rainstorm overnight at work for 18 hours and found it almost completely dry the next day. It’s a very warm jacket and has definitely held up surprisingly well this time. Highly recommended

I’ve had the zipup version for work and it is absolutely amazing. I got the tidal colour for home and the heavyweight rain defender hoodies are the thickest hoodies you can buy. It’s like buying a hoodie in the 90’s before everyone cheaped out and preferred minimal effort while raising the prices. I’m 5’10 170 lbs and got the medium. Didn’t expect the pocket to be so wide since the midweight version is skinnier which i think looks better but big deal. Also the hood is much smaller on this tidal model for some reason

Got them for the whole crew doing our Christmas light show. Dealt with rain, wind and cold temps like a champ.

Bought my first carhartt hoodie last year at this same time. Wore it a few times last winter and stored it for six months. Have worn it again this year off and on for the last month of so. The zipper has failed on it shredding apart near the bottom. It is now useless and I've barely worn it. At the price I paid last year for it I expected to be wearing it for years. Totally bummed out to say the least. Poor quality for the money I say.

QUALITY went DOWN. My 6 year old carhartt hoodies are better quality than the ones I bought last month. Already de-threading. I bought 4 one already has a hole in it from threads coming out and I’ve only worn it 2 times.

I’ve skied with this in all kinds of conditions and it keeps me dry and warm no matter. I got an XL bc I like baggy hoodies but L would have been a true fit (5’11” 175lbs)
