Not at all what I expected from a trusted Carhartt Company.
I bought these because I work outdoors in the Sierra Mountains and thought they would be a nice lightweight option. I work for Environmental Management and I walk the trails around Lake Tahoe while working. The shoes lasted only 5 months before the sides began to come apart. Now the side whers the shoes bend are completely blown. Not at all what I expected from a trusted Carhartt Company.

Lasted for a year under daily use! Highly recommend.
I bought these last year, and they were great and comfortable. They did start to show signs of wear about 7 months after purchase (parts of the cloth had started to fray a little), but were still wearable.
If anyone from Carhartt is reading this, the only thing I wish that this had was a composite toe. I now have to go through a metal detector every day, and having a composite toe is a must for me. I will probably (sadly) need to look at another option this spring to replace these shoes.
