What’s the weight rating?
Hole size
It should be sold with a template. The template is a 4 inch hole, with 3ea 1/2 inch holes in a triangle pattern around the edges, these are for the screw areas to fit. I marked and drilled the center and 3 edge holes, then used a 4 inch hole saw.
I used a coaster for drinks fits perfect.
