Q:How can this possibly meet boxfill limits under NEC 314.16? For a switch or receptacle, you'd have minimum a 14/2, plus ground, needing 2+2+1 = 5x2 = 10 cu in. For a junction, you'd have at least two 14/2, plus grounds, needing 4+1=5x2 = 10 cu in.

I needed a low profile J-box where led strip lights...
I needed a low profile J-box where led strip lights on top surface of exposed trusses are connected to power. This box will be mounted on top of the exposed truss; visible if you're looking for it. I painted them to match the ceiling, removed the mounting tabs and mounted using screws through the back of the box to the truss. More than adequate capacity for my wire connections.

Box worked great!
I needed this for an outlet built into the side of a drawer cabinet. Regular size box was too big and the drawer would hit so this box is great. Unfortunately the box is so small there's not much room for wires so it needs to be at the end of the circuit.
