Q:So how are you supposed to connect these to the 1.25" pipe? Are there any with BOTH "belled" or "flared" ends please? Thanks.

    Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your question. For straight end fittings you will need a coupling - part number E940G and solvent cement. Or use the belled end of the conduit to connect to the elbow. Part number for the elbow with one belled-end is UA9AGB.

      Answer This Question

A:  Approximately 12". This is particularly beneficial for applications where blockage could occur with the standard (short} elbows. Also beneficial where vacuum is needed: this elbow provides much less resistance to flow.

A:  The 2 inch 90 Degree Schedule 40 PVC Plain End Standard Radius Elbow is a standard gray rigid nonmetalic Electrical Conduit for use in burying or encasing electrical wires in an installation requiring protection to the wire. The actual elbow is 21 1/2 inches long but takes up a 13 inch by 13 inch vertical x horizontal space. The ends are straight requiring a coupler at each end to attach to another 2 inch conduit. UL listed.

Ordered twice and only received a single elbow both times. The cost and description show a 5 pack. I’d be happy to order again if I could be assured I would actually get 5. Side note: all 2” fittings in store appear to be schedule 40 except for the 90deg elbows which for some reason are schedule 80. It would make more sense to stock schedule 40 elbows in store and provide schedule 80 elbows online.

            Listing is inaccurate
Home Depot has this item listed as a case of 6 for the 1 1/4 size, however they will ship you 1 single elbow, not a case of 6. I re-ordered this item 3x in a row while being assisted by their customer service, and every time they made the same error and send me the 1 elbow rather than what is listed on their website. Staff appears clueless and no one seems to be able to handle what is going on with proper ordering.

Helped me run 100 Amp service to my garage. Watertight, easy to use, strong enough to resist frost issues. I am happy Used in conjunction with boxes and straight pipe I ran it about 50 feet to a disconnected garage, replacing inadequate extension cords. as I have a wet back yard I obviously wanted it watertight but 100 amp cable is very large in diameter. This did the job admirably.

Most people most likely use this Schedule 40 PVC for water or other liquid transport.. I sometime use it for this as well but more often I use it as raceway to protect and organize data and phone lines. Living in the country with forests all around my home I often have mice or squirrels in my attic who might chew through the insulation. Under my house we sometimes get larger animals as well. I have found that the larger Schedule 40 PVC works very well and is not as expensive as having to troubleshoot and replace data lines.

This 2" PVC right angle rigid pipe is excellent for numerous applications. It has two male ends which match the 2" female connections to suit numerous applications. The most important advantage I see is that instead of the usual short elbows, which can be blocked by unanticipated debris, this angle is very gentle over about 12 inches. The material can be used above or underground, can connect to the vent pipe through the roof. It can be buried and used as a conduit. I was particularly pleased to see it, because I modified my shopvac to accept 2" rigid plastic tubes and to retain maximum vacuum and unlikely blockage these elbows were a godsend.
