Product Details

The Carlon Zip Box Blue 1-Gang 20 cu. in. Non-Metallic Switch and Outlet Box is designed for use with non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with Article 314 of the National Electric Code. Great for residential and light commercial applications, the box is made with PVC, is listed for use with masonry walls and can be used with 90 degree C conductors. It meets NEMA OS-2 and is fire rated and UL Listed for safety.
  • Use in residential and light commercial applications
  • Sized for standard devices and switches and extra capacity for wiring and/or larger devices
  • Thermoplastic construction resists rust and won't conduct electricity
  • Captive nails included

        A:  Be gentle. The tab should flex and then rest on the wire to lock it in place. If you happen to over-stress the tab or break it off you're going to have too use another method like a wire staple to secure the wire.

              A:  The picture you show is for new construction..and yes it made for plugs and switches. If your doing a remodel there is another blue box with little plastic ears that need to be used
