I did my homework before purchasing a butcher block Island, I am so glad I went with this one. I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size, very sturdy and beautiful. I did sand the top a little before applying the first oiling. I highly recommend this piece of furniture. It Looks great and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it!

The product is totally usable and aesthetically pleasing. Construction quality is good but not superb: the wooden block needed additional mineral oil conditioning, the leg casters although well-made, are "Teflon" slippery which is no good on tile floor for instance. Overall a bit roght, but at this competitive price + will likely get better over time = good purchase!
