Yes, will work As the wire gauge number increases, the diameter gets smaller. 20 gauge wire will 'carry' a larger amperage than 22 gauge

It’s very small gauge wire....I put a 24 volt transformer on the doorbell...no way could you put 300v or 600v thru it

Can you give me more details as to your question? This particular wire is a Low Voltage wire and typically when people talk about 'insulated copper wire' they are referring to building wire (NM, etc.).

is this usa made and is it bare copper not tinned.

Used to run power for a new Nest HELLO! doorbell install. This stuff survived being pulled up through an exterior wall on the end of a fish tape and supplies rock solid power from the transformer to the doorbell.
