Great product!
Bought this on very short notice, put oil in it and ran it for 46hours constant. Very very pleased with its performance. Kept the house warm and the food cold. Highly recommend!

Less than 24 hrs, generator will not stay on.
We are currently in a huge power outage across KY. Bought this unit yesterday morning, brought it home, got everything set up per the manual. Ran completely fine for 15 hours with two breaks in between. We shut everything down to refuel the following day and now the generator will not stay on for more than a minute and the intelligauge is nonresponsive. Although nice, customer service had me doing more maintenance to this unit than I've ever expect to do with a less than 24 hr old generator. I checked fuel, I checked oil, checked oil color and level. I was informed I needed to change the oil after 5 hrs of use which sounds completely ridiculous. Then because everything was fine there, I was informed to remove the spark plug and check the gap, which I did. Then I was asked to check what color the spark was... I drew the line there. I bought this generator for over $1000, and in less than 24 hours, currently in a major power outage, Im suppose to do all of thos work to generator that is obviously faulty? Customer service took my info, had me text a picture of the receipt and said they would send me information for repair places that I must haul this massive generator to for service... At this time in the process, I would not recommend this generator, nor the customer service experience to anyone that needs a dependable unit during a power outage.

Awesome Generator
Very solid portable generator. Not too loud and very long run time. Electric start works perfect every time making emergency power that much easier. Love that I can keep all my essentials at home running when the grid goes down.

Secured for the long haul
After reviewing many different makes I opted to purchase a Champion generator for it's dependability and quality at an affordable price. Set up was easy and it fired up on first crank and ran smoothly right away. Very impressed by this product and the fact that it is backed up with customer support is reassuring for the long haul. Also bought a Champion power cable to safely run my unit away from the house.

Generator
We use it for off grid electricity for appliances daily, running on lpg. The quick connect was impossible for me to attach without help from a handyman. I checked the manual to see if I could find a tip, but the manual described a screw on connection; so I called. Long wait. No help. Once we got it running it performed well.

Easy to assemble. Works great on propane. Plenty of power
We lose power in our neighborhood several times a year. The Champion 8000-Watt Dual Fuel Generator works great. Using the propane option which is main reason I bought this model.. Already had several propane bottles for gas grill so didn't need any more.. Nice not having to keep gas on hand that gets old. No draining out gas after use to keep fuel lines and carburetor from clogging. Something I would recommend if you do use gas. Very easy to start. Just push a button and fires right up. Well worth having. Plenty of power for refrigerator, microwave, TV, internet router and lights. Highly recommend this generator. Very satisfied.

Perfect secondary generator for off-grid
Our off grid property is powered by dual 3.6 kW inverter/chargers, 36 kW of LFP batteries, 5 kW of solar, and our primary generator is a Kohler 14kW LP unit tied to a 1,000 gallon tank. We wanted a secondary generator to power our home in case the primary fails while we waited for it to be repaired or replaced. This model fit the bill perfectly We're still in the process of breaking it in, but it powers the home and charges our batteries seamlessly with our system. We've only used it running on gasoline, but like the option to run LP, just in case. I knocked one star off because this unit is quite loud. Much more so than our primary generator. It is also pretty heavy, but that is to be expected for such a powerhouse. If you're thinking of using this for camping, look elsewhere due to weight and noise. Overall I am pleased so far.

Great Generator
We purchased 2 of these generators to prevent power outages during our yearly ice storms. They are very simple to start and worked like a champ. These generators kept our well from freezing and heat in our house.

Champion is my choice.
Love Champion portable generators and the only choice for me. Easy to start, run and maintain. Used them for many years of work, play and even powering my whole house during outages in freezing temperatures. Essential for my family in our remote location during the last hurricane without power for 3 weeks. Would highly recommend Champion Power Equipment for all your needs.
