A: Yes. I use 3 so my generator can be situated in my back yard when outages occur. Reliance, my transfer switch manufacturer, advised that a connection of up to 100' is okay.
A: The cord is rated for 7,500 watts of continuous wattage. Starting wattage ratings for the generator are momentary bursts of power used to start motor driven electrical devices known as inductive loads. The starting wattage passes through the circuit breaker and cord in milliseconds and is not sustained long enough to generate the heat required to trip the breaker which protects the outlet from sustaining more than the 30A the extension cord is rated for. This is the same for outlets in your home. Thank you.
A: This is a listing for a generator cord. We recommend using our portable generator selector tool to help you determine the right size to power your essentials: https://www.championpowerequipment.com/generator-selector/
A: it depend on the size of generator and what else is attached, but the yellow l14-30r cord is not for direct connect to freezer. it is plug in camper or plug for house. you can buy an adaptor from l14-30 to standard house 120 plugs.
A: If your generator has a L14-30 (4-prong) receptacle on it, this cord will work just fine connecting to it. Your freezer box must also have an L14-30 outlet on it as well. Thank you.
A: Only if you have the special 4 prong plug on your freezer, if not you will have to get a box that has that plug on it and it splits it to 110 outlets
