    A:  3 3/4" but I can open them more about 5 1/2" to grab on to item, you will need both hands.

      A:  CHANNELLOCK product has not used a nut and bolt since 1984, it uses a permanent fastener. These have not been supplied for quite some time.

          A:  don't know about a lifetime warranty, but at 79 years of age, being an active DIYer all my life, having used Channel Locks for more years that I care to admit, I've never had a problem, just a great tool

              Very large set of pliers with a maximum capacity of 4-1/4". These a big and tough for larger pipes and jobs. The channel lock design is great. These will rust if not taken care of. Made in the USA.

              My favorite slip joint pliers ever, and I am old!
              I love these pliers! I don't think I will ever be able to break them and they are very smooth to use. It is amazing how many things you can use these on because of the size. Sure, they don't fit everything, but they fit a lot! This is my second pair (the first one was "borrowed"). Not cheap but very high quality. They will last you a lifetime (if you don't share them).

              Channel locks work very nice come in very handy for plumbing duties such as getting union nuts off and basket strainer nuts off on a three compartment utility sink very start strong and made of good material I’m very happy and well pleased with my channel locks this will be my third pair.
