About This Product

Made from strong Japanese steel, the construction and design of the Induction 21 Steel cookware line guarantee superior quality. Each piece has copper melted into the steel, which effortlessly conducts heat quickly and evenly. Titanium is also added for strength and durability to endure everyday cooking. The ceramic coating is PFOA and PTFE Free making it an eco-friendly and healthy nonstick pan. To ensure healthy cooking, the steel is nickel free to prevent allergic reactions to nickel. The tempered-glass lid makes it easy to monitor cooking and the dripless pouring rim reduces spillage along the side of the body. The Saute Skillet is perfect for sauteing chicken breasts or fish fillets. It features a wide flat bottom, straight sides to maximize capacity, cool to the touch, long ergonomic handle and shorter helper handle for ease in transfer and weight balance. This is the best steel for magnetic induction and perfect for all cooktops.

  • Premium non-stick ceramic coating from Whitford provides easy-clean cooking surface

The skillet works great on my induction stovetop. I’d like to buy a second one—identical—but it’s out of stock on the Home Depot website and not available in stores.

Looks pretty, cooks evenly and quickly. However, there is no balance in picking it up, so always use both handles.

The skillet is beautifully made. While not as good as Teflon for being free from food sticking to it, but it does clean up very very easy. The handle stays cool to the touch while cooking and the heat distribution is very good. I use it for both Induction and Electric Cooking and its rated for Gas as well.

Overall a great pan. I've used this pan for several months now. We own several non-stick pans, Berndes, Kitchenaid and Cuisinart. I've been on a quest to find a non-stick pan that stays non-stick and is free from any Teflon coatings. This one by far is the best yet. Non-toxic, solid handle, heavy gauge stainless steel and thick clad bottom that does an outstanding job at conducting the heat evenly on our old electric burners. The only problem so far is the glass lid leaks a few drops in one spot. I'm not a fan of any glass lids but it seems this is the direction that most manufacturers are going. I expect many years of good service from this pan as long as I can keep my children from using metal utensils in it...yes, metal utensils will damage the coating, bummer!
