Initial Purchase review
This is a nice value smoker/grill compared to some of the models that do not include the offset fire box. I purchased this with a plan to replace my current Char-Grill 50-50 grill which I only use to smoke and grill. I decided to customize this one with some high temp paint and a splash of Royal Blue color. The 50-50 works good but looks horrible so I wanted to see how it would hold up with a customized paint job. Hopefully this will last just as long if not longer. I will update this review once I actually cook on it and let you know my thoughts on the grill and how well the paint job holds up.

I looked at a lot of different grills and all the reviews, and ended up buying this one as most likely to meet my needs and as the best value for the money. Overall, I'm very happy with the product, it does a good job of grilling, and it's easy to assemble. The instructions are sufficiently clear and detailed to put together in 1-2 hours, having an assistant makes it quicker and easier. This grill is perfect for someone who does not want to spend on a professional smoker but still want to make some of those ribs you see on tv. The quality is high and durable. The grates are cast iron. THE KEY is maintenance. You have to seasoned it before using. although it comes oiled up already, I used vegetable oil and a brush and brushed it top to bottom. This protects it from rust. I smoked it for about an hour and a half this burns off any chemicals left behind and of course the start of a good seasoned smoker/grill. Use a nylon brush not a wired brush this will damage the cast iron. So far I used it to grill burgers, pork chops, chicken all comes out great.
All in all this is an amazing grill/smoker. I definitely recommend this

Awesome grill!
This grill has been awesome to cook with and the smoker works really well. The grill has an easy to clean ash box and you can cook breads and all kinda of meats and vegetables

Great long lasting Pit that makes awesome BBQ
Purchased this pit in 2016 and it's in prime BBQ condition and is one of my favorite pits. It's super spacious and has never let me down. It's durable and can BBQ through any weather. Some of my best BBQ has come from this pit and won't stop using it. It's great and highly recommend it.

This is my third char grilled. The other two I gave away during moves. My son and daughter also enjoy char grilled.
This time I researched mods on Google for better smoking. I took my time and am glad I did. Sealing the leaks and tweaking the smokestack so that the smoke and heat stay in the main chamber. Great product for the money.
