Product Details

PVC fittings are for drain, waste and vent purposes. They are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140°F. PVC is lightweight and easy to install. They require no special tools for cutting, and can be installed with solvent cementing, threading, flanging, and roll-grooved joining.
  • White fittings used in sanitary drain, waste, and vent (DWV), sewer and storm drainage applications
  • Not intended for pressure use
  • For use where systems will not exceed 104° F
  • Are used in gravity-fed waste elimination systems and are for Non-Pressure systems
  • Conforms to meet Standards: ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 2665, ASTM D 3311 and NSF 23
  • Require no special tools for cutting and to be installed with solvent cement
  • +/-10.01" ID and 10.75" OD

Q:I just rec'd this via UPS. Why doesn't this fit my 6" Charlotte PVC Pipe? The pipe measures 6.25" OD and the hub measures 6.5" ID! Why is there .25" of slop?

    A:  ronald the OD of " PVC pipe and fittings would be +/-* 6.625 and the ID would be +/- 6.065.

      A:  The ID of 10'' PVC pipe and fittings would be +/- 10.02 inches. The OD is +/- 10.75 inches.

        A:  No. This fitting is designed to be used with PVC SCH 40 DWV pipe only. Sewer pipe like SDR 35 will require SDR 35 fittings. For a recommendation from Charlotte Pipe please contact our Technical Services Department at 800-438-6091.
