    Then if they are not cut to size you need to take that out of the description - very misleading. on another shade I saw the answer of in order for it to be cut to size you have to bring it to Home Depot to be cut - so which is it?

    Hello, As long as you have the proper mounting space of 1 5/8 inches for the outside mount (or inside flush mount) then this shade could be used on a french door.

    Do they come in a shorter length? I only need 34 X 34.

    Yes, this would work on a backdoor as long as you have the proper mounting space of 1 5/8 inches for the outside mount (or inside flush mount).

    We purchased a white one based on the great reviews. Unfortunately, it looks awful. It’s so sheer you can see the lift system through the shade. The lift bars at the bottom are visible through it too. It’s super janky. We hate it and will order a new custom one instead

    I bought this shade for an eat-in kitchen area. They make it look very finished and clean. They were not difficult to hang at all. The light filtering quality is just perfect for what I wanted, not at all see through. They don't make the room black-out by any means, but they definitely darken the room when closed. The fabric is light and so is the lining behind which I think is nice since it makes them easy to lift and lower. Overall I really like them and would buy them again if I had to do it over.

    Don't go by the measurements in the Product Overview, but overall, this is a good shade for the price and it was easy to install. I ordered this shade before the Jan 14, 2019 question from Allthumbs was answered. My windows are 34.5 inches wide, and I wanted to do an inside mount too. I selected the 33 inch option, and the Product Overview said "this shades actual width will be exactly 34 in. wide" and "current option fits perfectly inside a 34 in. to 35 in. width window casing." When I received the product, the width was exactly 33 inches (too narrow), which matches the dimensions in the Specifications section, but contradicts the Product Overview. Luckily, returns at Home Depot were very easy, and I re-ordered the 34 inch version, which fits well. I agree with the other reviews saying that the fabric isn't as thick as it appears in the pictures. Also, I love the cordless feature, but it tends to spring back a bit, so the shade doesn't always touch the window sill when pulled down. However, it's still a very nice shade, installation went smoothly, and it's a good value for the price.
