I absolutely love these shades! They are a great alternative to a regular blind for our twins’ room. I wanted light filtering so am okay with the fact they let some light through. The measurements are spot on and fit so snugly they look custom! Installation was a breeze and took maybe 20 minutes for 2. They are super lightweight and easy for my boys to lift and lower. I’m about to order 3 more for the remaining windows we have and am considering replacing all the blinds that came with the house when we bought it with these. If you are debating, you should buy them!

So far I love it. It was pretty easy to hang and seems sturdy. I love the way the light comes through but still provides privacy.

These shades are so beautiful. The color is perfect and I received so many compliments on them. The only issue, this company should offer custom sizes due to having a window that was not true to size. Other than that, I would highly recommend this shade, the color, etc….

Loving these bamboo shades. They are easy to install once the mounting brackets are in place and really look good. >>Leave one wing nut attached to the mounting screw and slide one end of the shade between the screw. Then lift up the opposite side onto the mounting screw and attach the washer and wingnut onto the mounting screw and then tighten both wing nuts on both sides. >The flat but “texture” look with the bamboo sticks look much better than a plain old flat shade and better than the traditional blinds. Easier to clean too, just dust or vacuum. Easy Cordless operation. Pull down or push up from the center and stop where you want the shades to be. The dark color is REALLY DARK. The bamboo shades will let some light in no due the small gaps between the bamboo sticks. I installed the bamboo on the outside of the window frame (can be installed inside or outside of the window frame) so I was able to install an inside black out shade on the inside frame so when I want no light coming through I can use both shades to give me that eloquence and bamboo look that bamboo shades provide and cut out all the light. >>>BE AWARE that bamboo shades are like tile flooring. If you are going to redo all your windows with these bamboo shades it is BEST TO ORDER them ALL at the same time to increase the odds that you will get the closest color matches as possible as each shade even, though it is the same “color,” may have slight differences due to the dying process. >Screw and drywall anchors (junk) included. Install using a 5/64” pilot hole for the screw (no drywall anchors) directly into a stud. If you need a drywall Anchor THROW OUT the provided JUNK anchors. Best to provide your own better drywall anchor than what is provided in the kit. CAUTION DO NOT use a damp cloth on these shades, they will slightly fade. Do not make that mistake as I did trying to clean a spot that got some chalk on the shades. Luckily the area was small and in a not too noticeable area. Overall if you like a darker color, I would go with these. And bamboo looks great!

This is a nice, easy to install window shade. It replaces a cloth roman shade that had seen better days. It came in a small, easy to carry box, with better-than-usual instructions and all the hardware needed. It is true to size. I am happy that it allows a fair amount of light through even when closed. Don't expect full room-darkening or full privacy. It stands out from the window a bit more than I expected, so next time I will size for inside the frame installation. It goes up and down easily without outside cords. The only improvement I can suggest is for installation screws with a fuller cut head. I had trouble with stripping the smaller screw heads, but a quick replacement with standard wood screws fixed that easily.

Beautiful blinds! They are the perfect balance of letting some light in and still providing coverage from the sun blaring in. We hung these on our window that overlooks our back deck - so didn’t need total privacy or black out coverage. We just want to filter the sun at certain parts of the day, and then open the blinds to enjoy the patio view at other times. The easy lift up/pull down feature is awesome! Much easier to work with than having a cord to pull, and it’s a much cleaner look for the window. The valance-style topper is attached, so you just hang it all as one piece - no extra attaching or anything necessary, and it adds a nice finished look to the blind. The 34” true to size blind fit my 34” window perfectly - so no edges of light on the sides. The bamboo look and texture is really pretty. It’s much classier than the faux plastic ones I’ve had in the past! They blinds attach via two metal brackets mounted at the top to the plastic base. One thing to be careful of when you’re hanging the blinds: you hook the plastic lip over the metal bracket and then push to snap it in the bottom part of the bracket. I guess I must have pushed a bit too firmly - as a little piece of the plastic lip snapped off. This was easy enough to resolve - I drilled a couple new holes and moved the bracket over a few inches, and then snapped the blinds gently into place. Not a big deal, but I created extra work for myself having to move the bracket, so save yourself the time and be gentle when snapping into place :)

I was a little disappointed. At first I took it out of the box and was excited until I saw there were no instructions for Installing . We went on their website which was very helpful. Once we had it installed , we had opened it up . It’s very nice and darkness filled our 10 x 10 room . Now putting it back up was not easy for us either. I guess I’m just a little disappointed and very happy at the same time

Overall shade effect is good, and I do enjoy the mottled light. I noticed that I could not see through them from the outside looking in, at least during the day. So, they do provide privacy despite being semi-transparent from the inside. Mounting was easy enough. I have a solid wood door, so I only needed to use the top two screw holes on each of the mounting brackets. The self-retracting feature takes a little practice, but you get the hang of it after a few tries. Just wish I could cut off the excess and shorten it to length
