What is the temperature rating
Can this be squished down to go through an opening of 5 3/4 inch damper? I know others say it cant be ovalized but just wondering if it can be squished down about a 1/2 inch?
This chimney liner has a diameter of 6 inches. Since your damper opening is 5 3/4 inches, the liner would need to be compressed by about 1/4 inch on each side to fit. While the liner is somewhat flexible, it's not designed to be compressed this much. Forcing it could damage the liner and compromise its integrity. It's generally recommended to avoid compressing or ovalizing chimney liners.
What is the outside diameter of the pipe?
