It worked well enough for our shower surround. I think it would have been easier if it had another 1/2 inch to an inch to work with. But I got it to work!! And now we have a nice straight bead around our shower!!

Effective solution for clean, exposed edges
Good flexibility while also sturdy, I've used this on exposed edges that can't fit a full L-cap and found it very easy to use and effective. Be sure not to wait too long after applying the final layer of mud before removing the rippable edge.

Did not tear off well and messed up the drywall finish as a result. I ended up cutting the drywal...
Did not tear off well and messed up the drywall finish as a result. I ended up cutting the drywall back to the closest stud and using green board all the way up to the edge of the shower surround. A couple thin layers of mud and some paint.
