Great Pine Boards
The Claymark branded pine is far superior than anything else on the market. I've used it for years in various furniture projects with great results.

First off, not sure about that picture, it does not look proportionate to 1x2's that I purchased. Secondly, I purchase these quite often however, I find myself driving a lot of miles to different HD because it is nearly impossible to find one that is straight. Even the 4' sizes are not straight. I can understand that when it's a normal 1x2, but I have a difficult time purchasing less than quality woods on ANYTHING labeled "select". Whoever has the job of "selecting" should probably be replaced.

      Patience required
I had to go through 60 boards to find 16 that were not seriously warped or otherwise damaged. That said, the few straight pieces are all uniform, free of serious knots or natural blemishes, have crisp corners and require minimal sanding for a fine pre-stain finish.

      fantastic
takes some effort to get straight ones, but I think worth the cost for the convenience of being sanded with sharp corners. I usually keep 8-10 on hand in the shop.

        Bad Quality
The wood is not curved with dents all over the length, poor quality. Based on the label, Claymark is New Zealand company. Is it really worthy to ship this bad quality wood from New Zealand? Can somebody recommend where can I get good quality wood in NYC?
