Q:We have colored outdoor concrete patio with a slight slope, the concrete has a coating that becomes very slick in the winter time with ice and or ice/snow. We are thinking about using these mats in this application so we don?t slip, temps are below 10-36F

I have installed this long, low profile mat right outside of my apartment door which is a location that sees a lot of moisture, rain and debris from trees. As a walk-up mat, it reduces the debris and moisture that my family brings into the house, thanks to the length of the mat. It looks basic in black with a rib pattern. It's slightly effective in reducing dirt and moisture and easy to lay flat. It is a very shallow rib mat so its also easy to sweep or spray clean. It could be easy to cut into shapes with scissors or a utility knife since it's fairly thin material.

We placed this black scraper mat inside the back door to our garage hoping it would keep some of the dirt from getting tracked into the house. It has served us well in that regard. It is very thin (about 1/10th of an inch) so I was initially concerned it wouldn't stay in place. Because it is smooth on the back and actually heavy for it's thickness, it stays in place on our smooth concrete garage floor. It won't trap and keep a lot of water because it is so thin, but it does catch light dirt and mud.

A little underwhelmed...
We have a long corridor in our garage leading up to the backdoor that seems to attract every dead leaf in our yard. I have a welcome mat and another mat so people can wipe their shoes, but as soon as the back door opens, LEAVES!
I bought the long mat because it looked sturdy enough for frequent use and its scraper may stop a few leaves. That remains to be seen. What I was underwhelmed with was how thin the mat seemed. Durability after a few years of hard scraping -- we'll see. The mat came rolled, and, as you you see by the pic, after a day its rolls have still not totally flattened out.

Perfect solution for us. While being thin enough to clear our back door, this mat provides good traction for our dogs and catches the debris and they bring in on their feet. It is ridged on the topside so it holds the grass clippings, leaf chips, tiny rocks and general dirt and water. Just vacuum, sweep or if it gets too nasty, just take it outside and hose it down. The smooth on the bottom provides enough grip because this mat is heavier than it looks. Great quality and stays in place. Have noticed that dog hair tends to stick to it from static. Really helps keep the place cleaner.

Perfect for my grilling and meat smoker area! This protects my deck, cleans easily, and is comfortable to stand on. The large size makes it work well for two cookers: the big grill and a medium-sized smoker. I was finding that grease was staining my composite deck, so this was a simple solution to keep the surface nice and improve my comfort while grilling out. Simple, easy, and it cleans easily with a hose.

A nice all around mat that seems quite durable and is light-weight for use anywhere you want to protect a carpet or other floor surface. The raised surface of this mat works nicely to clean off the soles of my boots and shoes so I am not dragging saw dust, dirt, etc. onto my flooring and wall to wall carpeting. I used this mat to also help me from slipping on worn down vinyl composition tile that covers an area of thf cement floor in basement. I really like that the ClimaTex scraper mats are made by a company ( Dimex ) that is committed to a eco-friendly stance. They use recycled materials whenever possible.

This mat seems to be quality material but doesn't want to lay flat so I can't give it more than 4 stars. The mat is made of rubber and is textured on one side to work as a scraper to catch all dirt and grime from your shoes as you walk across it. The other side is smooth to help it lay flat . I'm not sure why but even after 3-4 weeks, my mat's edges are wavy the entire length of it that could case a tripping hazard which is why I can't give it more than 4 stars.

This makes a great mat to go under and 2x5 foot table.
I got this to go under a stainless steel 2 ft x 5 ft table on which I have a tabletop propane grill and a table top propane griddle. It is just the thing to help keep the table cleaner than it would be otherwise.
This year I needed a new grill and decided to ditch the big one and go with 2 small ones on a table. Thus the old 3 ft x 4ft heavy rubber mat I had been using no longer would do. When I saw this it was just exactly what I needed. It works perfectly for this. It lays pretty flat right out of the box. I'm sure some warm weather will improve on that a bit more. This may not be the typical use for this mat but it just happens to fit the bill for this case in addition to the typical usage.
