Poor instructions and missing hardware
Well, it was time to replace the old garage door that had been in service for 20 plus years and was used when it was installed. Home Depot had the best price and had two in stock. so far so good. got the door and some treated wood that I needed to replace around the garage door. once the old was out and cleaned up I started installing the new door. on the instruction, it said NEW & Improved. I should have known that there was trouble ahead. I got started. the instruction seems to be out of order but that is okay. I got the hardware on the doors no issues and in place. Most of the other hardware went on with no issues until I started running out of the little 1/4" track bolts. I had to take some off of the old door to finish the job then it was short other bolts as well. no instruction for the door lock. Good Door just plan on going to the hardware store.

The top support bracket cannot be attached according to the instructions, the flange is not wide ...
The top support bracket cannot be attached according to the instructions, the flange is not wide enough. I was told to just raise it up until the screw holes can engage the flange.
This is a poor design, not having an actual top panel.
I thought I just didn't get a top panel, which I didnt.

The door is good but don’t trust Home Depot online...
The door is good but don’t trust Home Depot online ordering to give you one. Go into the store and get an unopened one yourself or they will sell you a dated one

Easy to install
Replaced the original wooden garage door with the Cloplay 9 by 7, non insulated door.
Everything was packaged nicely and I was able to handle the pickup and install by myself.
Total install took approx. 5 hours and that was with me taking my time and double checking my work as i went along.
Door looks great once it’s all put together. Would recommend As quality and price is right. Hoping the metal will stand up to weather and salt

The packing was tight and well done. The instructions left no doubt on what to do and how to do it, along with the tutorial dvd. The warnings were very obvious about the weight of the door and the need of another person to help. This was my first garage door install but with the instructions, it seemed as though I'd done this for years. The door opens and closes easily and looks great!
