Perfect Combination of Form and Function

Love these doors so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced 20 year old doors. Had them painted at the factory to match the BM Historical Color of the house. Great quality, real quiet openers and really adds to our houses curb appeal. The additional layer of windows on the top pane really brighten up the garage. The additional RF factor will help us in the winter keeping the garage alot warmer than years past.

nice doors!
My 70 year old garage doors needed replacing so i decided to go with a timeless classic look of the coachman. They are well insulated, quiet and with the 18 months financing, affordable. Now if only this style came in 9’x7’!

Should have done it sooner!
I LOVE my new doors (16' & 9') and they increase my home value, without a doubt. The appearance is fantastic and they seal out the cold weather, critters, insects (such as the dreaded stink bugs) and drafts. Every time I look at them I think that I should have done it five years ago. I continually get comments on how great the doors look. I truly am still amazed at the value for the dollar that I received!

The Good and The Bad
We had this door in 16 x 8 ft installed last week. The door is beautiful and the quality of the door is very good, we are very pleased with the way the door looks with our home. The Home Depot salesman who helped us with our purchase was knowledgeable and very helpful and the door was delivered in about 3 weeks. With the 15% sale offered by Home Depot we were able to get a very good price on the door. My complaint is with the installers. The installer was very nice and explained everything and when he left the door seemed fine. Within a few times of opening and closing the door it started to bind and would go back to the open position but didn't happen all the time. We called the installer and they started telling us that it's the eye and they are going to charge for the visit. The eye was clear so we spoke the salesman at Home Depot who contacted the installer. We didn't hear from the installer and a salesman called from HD to see if they had followed up. It's been 6 days we haven't heard from the installer and now we're trying not to even use the door because it's making a horrible grinding noise.
My good rating is for the Clopay door and Home Depot. Poor rating is for the installer..... so far 4 contacts and 6 days waiting for a call back. What good is a beautiful door if you can't use it?
