I hung mine in a basement on a cinderblock wall. Hence the need for concrete anchors.

Will these work for a cinder block wall

Yes, these will work for a cinder block wall.

How many packets do I need for 5 shelves.

Asked by GG March 22, 2020

Answer

Depends on how wide the shelves are and how far apart but figure each bracket bar will need five screws and each of these packages has ten screws. I would also get an extra package if you plan on installing a horizontal bar to hole the vertical bracket bars

If I find studs behind, am I supposed to use just the screws without the plastic anchors?

Yes, to make sure you don’t twist the head off of the screw, drill pilot holes into the drywall and stud with a drill bit that is about half of the diameter of the crew.

The pins work exceptionally well. Why can’t I buy a package of those separately?

I used the ones that came with the kit. The most important one is the one at the top of the track. The track going down doesn't require as many as gravity and the weight of the shelving keeps it steady and strong. I hope this helps as I love my closet organized with this kit.

The mounting hardware is great because it can be used to attach your tracks to either drywall (with anchors) or straight to wall studs. To mark their location for vertical mounting, as pencils and pens don’t fit, use a smaller sized drill bit to mark the spots easily. If your mounting to a stud, drill a small pilot hole into the stud for ease of attachment.

The product worked fine but I will say the person (Jenna) was the rudest person I have ever met. She should not ever work the customer service desk because I witnessed her being rude and obnoxious to every customer she waited out. I would recommend her to have a job that does not require her to have contact with the public.
