The ClosetMaid 12 in. ShelfTrack Standard is exclusively designed for the ShelfTrack hang track and bracket system which allows wire shelves to be adjusted to any height, making storage more versatile in both large and small spaces. Durable metal construction and double-slotted design provide strength and durability. Standards need to be placed no more than 24 in. apart and no more than 4 in. from the end of a shelf for stability.

Q:can i use these inside of a cabinet frame as supports?

A:  These are not designed to go inside of a standard cabinet.  However, they could/would fit with some basic carpentry skills and some finagling of the brackets and shelving.

      A:  So not 100 % of the question, however you must use the brackets that are associated with the shelving. So far have been very happy with this product hope that helps

              A:  Good Morning, We do not recommend not using the hang track, even with having the standards mounted into the studs. It is best to follow the manufacturer recommended guidelines. Thank you for your inquiry.

                          Easy to install shelf track!!
                          Once I located the stud, I used a level to make sure my track is plumb. The track has pre-drilled holes, and I used 2 inch screws to secure the track to the stud. Installation was very easy!

                          Closet Maid shelves are nice to install in a closet. You can install them and configure the Closet the way you want to. I put in 2 recessed lights purchased from HD and Aromatic Cedar Closet Planks, both of which you can get at Home Depot. The Cedar is in the same isle as the Closet Maid products. The Aromatic Cedar is grown and processed in the USA and is better quality than the less expensive Imported Cedar. I once accidentally purchased the Imported Cedar and the quality was so poor I had to return all 5 packages.
