ShelfTrack 16 in. D Bracket

A:  I tried to locate loading specifications on shelving like this to understand load rating and specific mounting conditions under which that load would apply, but could not. I expect there are too many variables: e.g. length of wall mount channel, screw/anchor size and length, how many screws should be used...etc. In my application, I have an 8 foot length with rails/channel mounted on each stud (a challenge on the ends), four cabinet mount screws on each channel (3.5" length). Rack supports must be on the ends, otherwise heavy loads cannot be stored on those ends because they will droop. I maybe have 200 pounds on mine. I don't know that I would be comfortable putting 400 pounds on it, but that's just me.

A:  I have had no problem. My shelves have stoneware on them. At least 50 lbs
