Great way to start off a shelving installation plumb and level, and where you might expect to have heavier loads on shelving. Have used in basement and garage installations, and even as temporary shelving during a kitchen remodel. I like this shelving system better than traditional grey shelving units in the garage and basement because then everything is up off the floor to make cleaning easier or to store power equipment. In the laundry room, a 15" depth shelf makes a great drying rack as seen in the picture.

The product is almost required if you are going to purchase the 20.5" wide drawer units because your likely stud attachment in wall is 16" o/c. Do not recommend you attach bracket to drywall only as the weight will eventually fail. Holes come predrilled at 8"o/c so should match your current stud layout, pending framers original attention to layout.

This product did not match the 40" ShelfTrack Hang Track. When I used the 40" to fill the gap on a wall and meet the cut 80" on another wall the upright heights didn't match. This resulted in the shelf not lining up at the corner of the closet. Check the cross section of the Hang Tracks you buy to make sure you get the same or are at least aware going into the install. The system was good other than this issue. Easy to install the track and uprights, very secure system. Would like to see a redesign on the furniture that can be purchased for this line. The cam locks used to assemble the furniture on some pieces stood tall causing variation in the upper brackets that go into the upright slots. This made installation difficult for some since they were more narrow than they should have been. (Tall cam locks prevent the bracket from sitting flush with the inside of the furniture piece - making them more narrow than the channel slots - despite cleaning the debris from the cam lock holes.) 40" is on the Left, 80" on the Right in the pic.
