This closet organizer looks great. We're using it as a standalone shelf, but it can also be combined with other styles of shelves and can be stacked if you want more height.
This organizer is really easy to put together, and took my wife about 90 minutes. The only issue we ran into is that some of the decorative plugs that cover the fasteners were loose and fell out. We had to put a small amount of glue onto the inner surface to get it to stay in place.

The ClosetMaid Style+ Modern Walnut 3-Shelf Stackable Base Unit Wood Closet System makes for a versatile storage solution. Since I have no closet space left, I installed my unit as a freestanding base, in a bookshelf style. It's going to be an extra storage place for who knows what, but open storage always collects something. I've put organizing boxes on my shelf because I don't like the look of the holes for the adjustable shelves. I may even upgrade to canvas "baskets." Note that assembly should have been easy based on the technology, but it's best two have two people steadying the unit when connecting the sides. I didn't and the board cams connected on one side fell, before attaching the second side. The cams ended up ripping out of the wood and damaged the hole. Luckily I was still able to assemble but would recommend inserting the four cams and steadying the base before turning the cams in the lock position.

Very good quality for this wood closet system. The Walnut color is very modern looking and gives a upscale look to a very basic closet system. Assembly takes about a half hour and instructions are good and easy to follow. Its is very sturdy and can hold a very good amount of weight. Size is just about right for my needs. I would say the improvement that can be made would to supply another shelf for this unit.

This Closemaid walnut 3 shelf stackable base unit is a good addition to my closet storage. It was easy to put together. When putting it together, make sure that you put the 4 triangle supports on the shelf before lifting. Before I put the supports, I wanted to lift it up and the sides tried to collapse. Because it is made of partial board, this could have been a disaster. I like the color and rich wood grain look. There are two shelves, one is fixed and one is adjustable. I do wish that there was a third shelf because there is so much space that is unused between top and second shelf. It has adjustable feet so there is not problem with leveling it on uneven floors/carpet.

This is a very versatile little shelf. You can hang it up on the wall, or sit it in a corner. It can also supplement an existing shelf system. What i like about it is it's lightweight, while still being sturdy enough to hold heavier items like work boots. What i dislike about it is it's not deep enough to hold longer sized items like a size 10 shoes.

In case you are the type of person that will only read the first few lines let me start with saying that this unit is not the sturdiest you will find. It is good unit if you are intending it for light items. It only has 4 small triangular cardboard pieces placed in top and bottom corners to act as braces. They are nailed into the back for support, most units have a full backing. So if you need an open back unit this will do. Would I stack them, never. After it is attached to the wall with the enclosed braces it is better but if you intend to put it on a wall that has floor molding it will need to be gaped away from the wall as well (fortunately for me I do not have that to contend with, so mine is good).
Apart from that issue it is an decent unit. Colors are good and grain is natural in appearance. Instructions are very well laid out and extremely easy to follow.

Dense pressed board, with a high quality wood grain covering. Not the cheap contact paper covering that you see in some of the chain stores.
Similar in quality to furniture sold at (that Scandinavian store) we can not mention the name of.
The post and cam lock system is easy to put together and easy to disassemble.
The middle and the bottom shelve are adjustable to any height.
We would have preferred to see cam locks on the middle shelve rather than the small posts that press into in holes. The cam lock system is much more robust.
If you are planning to disassemble the unit for transport: a) we recommend you use screws in the top shelve rather than the included dowels, b) we recommend you use small screws for the cardboard triangles rather than the included nails. If you use screws it will be much easier to take apart for transport. Please note that the cardboard triangles are essential to keep the unit study and prevent it from wobbling.

It's a pretty good size for storing random items and is able to fit through just about any doorway. The color matches lots of styles and really modernizes a room. It's a great value and easy to assemble but I wouldn't put much weight on it unless it's propped against two walls or attached to the wall in the back as described in instructions. The middle shelf slides out too easily since the hardware is too slick; it's not really a "problem" but may be a danger to small children trying to climb it. All you need for assembly is a screwdriver and tiny/tack hammer; that's literally it! Takes about half an hour following the instructions and voila! Now I can declutter my room up a bit.

Heavier than it looks. Well packed and arrived undamaged. Assembly was easy enough and only took about 20 minutes start to finish. Pressboard gussets are included to add stability and strength to the unit. Be sure to install them and be very sure the unit is squared up before you nail them in place. Really like the fact that this has adjustable feet. My only complaint is that I wish it came with another shelf or 2.

I love these shelves for a number of reasons. They are easy to put together and are a lot like the Ikea assembly style of interlocking hardware. They are very attractive and well made with a nice finish. Once assembled they are sturdy and stable. They hold a lot of weight and are well balanced. I suggest that you assemble them where you are going to use them because, as you can tell from moving the boxes, once they are assembled they are fairly heavy. I've used these for storage in the attic and am going to get some shorter ones for my closet.
