A:  All you should need to do is push the button once for one level of light push it again for the next level that’s all there is to it but I will tell you this if you Calcos or email them they will send you a brand new pair for your charge one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with as far as warranties I buy their stuff anytime I can. I have multiple lights from that company and have sent in a few lights and had them replace

A:  Hi Pack! This sounds like there might be an issue with the glasses that we would want to replace under our warranty. If you have not done so already, please contact us at 1-800-426-5858 or via email at support@coastportland.com for further assistance. All the best, Bobby - COAST Expert

A:  I know mine the button isnt very easy to push and actually get a change in mode, what I mean is its like the red on/off button you see is decent size but that is just a button cover the actual button under it seems very small and I have to use the very tip of my finger or finger nail and sometimes still takes a couple tries to get a reaction from the light and I dont even attempt to turn them on or off when I have gloves on but that being said I still like these glasses and they can be very handy working under vehicles.

No more dirt in my eyes working underneath cars!
I bought me these ppe and when my dad saw me use them for the first time he said he needed one for himself. I gave him mine and bought another for myself. I brought them to work and my coworker wants one too! These things are comfortable and illuminate well for working under cars. No more dirt in my eyes!

I couldn't wait to get these safety glasses as they sounded like exactly what I needed. I wear glasses & these fit perfect over the top, but I am having problems getting them to stay on my face. I've since had to attach straps off the ear pieces and tighten so they stay on. I have a smaller face than a guy and I get that, but they should have a pair that would fit a woman's face. I love the light & all the functions. They are lightweight so this is so helpful since wearing glasses is enough weight. I will continue to wear them as they're supper ideal for my woodworking.

Now you can see, with your hands free!
These were a spontaneous buy that I never thought I would become so dependent on! I am an auto technician and spend most of my day using flashlights, etc to see what I am working on. I also spend a lot of my time dodging rust falling down in my face. These glasses take on both tasks, and dominate! They are ridiculously right for one side light, it clearly lights both sides surprisingly evenly as well! The only complaints I can possibly think of is not coming with a strap, given the weight of the battery they slide off fairly easy if you are leaning down.....but very cheap and easy fix and being an accessory technically i get why it doesn't come with one. The other thing is it would be great if they offered a model with the foam insulation around them to detur side entry of foreign debri, or even a goggle style I guess. All in all Amazing purchase, and highly recommend even as a gift I'd be happy!

These inspection glasses are as high quality as they come, they are built very well and are easy to use. The button is on the same side as the light making it easy to turn on and off, and the light is plenty bright and has lasted hours and I still haven't recharged it yet. They are amazing for automotive applications where I would be wearing safety glasses anyways, and for woodworking when a little extra light is needed. I find myself using my headlamp less and less after using these. I love that they come with a bag to keep them in and the extra accessories you need with the glasses. The bag also doubles as a lens cleaner when you need it. But they don't fog up at all and are very resistant to finger prints. I can be wearing my face mask all day with these and never have an issue. I love everything about these glasses except for the fit, they do slide a little on my face and I feel like I have a big head, so I wear them with a hat which keeps them from moving. Overall I am very pleased with these glasses and just wish they were a tighter fit.

This is an interesting, unique product. The glasses are easy to use, with bright and well-centered Bulls-Eye Spot Beam LED beam of light built into the frame. They are ANSI impact-tested with anti-scratch and premium anti-fog UV protection clear lenses as well as interchangeable yellow lenses. Nose and temple pieces padding provides comfort and secure fit. The frame is made of high impact plastic. What makes this product really interesting is the built-in LED multi-node flashlight. Despite placement on the right side of the frame, the beam is nicely centered. It is very bright, with 135 lumens output on high beam. Battery is rechargeable via micro-USB port and included cable. The connection is tight, it takes several tries to connect. It should run up to 11 hr 30min on a single charge. There is high and low mode for increased versatility The flashlight is very convenient, leaving hands free for various tasks. This combination is more comfortable than a headlamp and just as bright and convenient. Overall, this a great, useful product that serves as sturdy eye protection as well as LED flashlight.

I tested the Coast Rechargeable Dual Beam LED Safety Glasses by sharpening a knife and a chisel on a grinder in an unlighted garage at least an hour after the end of evening nautical twilight. The Coast glasses are so bright and so clear that I had no problem whatsoever seeing this detailed work. As Job 5:7 notes, sparks fly upward, but my eyes were safe as the Coast glasses sit snugly on one's face. They are slightly heavier than standard goggles, but the brilliant light is worth the slight weight gain. When I left the garage I looked up at a 30-foot maple tree. The Coast glasses clearly illuminated the crown of the tree. I also like that the glasses have two settings, bright, and extremely bright. The Coast glasses are easy to charge with a USB on the underside of the left arm.

These safety glasses are very comfortable and durable, and the built in LED light is a great feature. The light is activated by simply pushing the power button, and it has a high and low beam setting. The glasses also come with a set of clear and yellow lenses that are interchangeable (and swapping them out requires no extra tools). The glasses also come with a convenient carrying case to protect them and store the extra set of lenses.

Necessary equipment after Fall Time Change: Last night a took a phone call in early evening and suddenly it was almost dark. My equipment was still spread over the yard and driveway. At first I was concerned about finding it all, but then I remembered that these safety glasses were not designed for close work. I bought them for wearing with contact lenses, but I just slipped them over my glasses. The illumination felt very natural. I was able to clean and store all my tools and then easily sweep the dirt of sections of my driveway and walk. They came with a micro USB charging cable, and set of yellow lenses, and a nice soft carrying bag. The bag easily holds the safety glasses, the drawstring closure couples as a carrying handle, and it has two outside velcro pockets, one for each extra lens. The LED,circuitry and battery make the glasses a little heavy, but they are well balanced on both temples. The glasses did not slip when I wore them over my glasses or while I used them for some close work without my glasses, but I they would fall off during more active work. Instead of hooks to loop behind your ears there are holes at the ends of the temples. I plan to thread through some stretchy string with one of those spring clamps. The kind that you sometimes see in the hem of hiking pants or a quarter zip sweatshirt (see the photo). That way I can pull on the stretchy string and cinch it up tight at the back of my head. Also, the instructions say these are best for illuminating work at least 6 feet in front of you. If you are closer than 6’ from your work, the LED will create a narrower spotlight. It also casts shadows, but it still helped when I was trying to detangle a bunch of wires in a corner below a table. The wires were less than an arm’s-length away, but the extra light was helpful even though the area was not evenly illuminated. The LED makes a bright center spot about 8” diameter at arms length with a less brightly illuminated area about 38” diameter. In the past I have used one of those headlights held in the middle of my forehead by an elastic harness. The LED in the safety glasses is smaller, but it still puts out a lot of light, and it is much lighter. I thought I could wear the safety glasses without messing up my hair, but, as it turns out, for active work, I think the glasses will need a strap so it is probably a toss up. If you have good eyesight, the safety glasses are lightweight and simpler than wearing both a headlamp and safety glasses. However, if you normally wear prescription glasses, then safety goggles with a headlamp is probably the way to go. Either way, you may need to find a way to maneuver an elastic strap around your hair bun.

Most of my working years were in places that either required safety glasses or should have. Finding comfortable or practical safety glasses used to be a job in itself. And even earlier, there wasn't much choice at all. Everyone had the same glasses. These days there's a lot of choices but a lot of them still lack practicality. But with these Coast Safety Glasses, not anymore. Coast glasses are not only comfortable but practical as well. Coast has smartly incorporated a rechargeable LED light into the frame. It has a high and low beam feature which is extremely helpful when working in tight crowded spaces such as under the hood of a car. This puts the light where you're looking. The beam, on and off features are adjusted with a simple push of the ergonomic push button on the frames side. Another huge plus is the batteries are built in and rechargeable with a standard USB cable that's compatible with any USB charge point. You get the glasses, charge cable and 2 sets of scratch resistant lenses (clear and yellow UV blockers) that all fits into a soft cloth pouch. My only wish would be the pouch have a separate pocket for the spare lenses. These should be the last pair of safety glasses you'll ever need.
