Poor design
The grease trap is inches below the flame. Turned my new grill off after burgers and grease caught fire. Burned up the grill and nearly my house. No response from Coleman after two weeks.

Portability ease
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this for an overnight camping event for a popular fast-food franchise opening. I wanted to be prepared as I had to be present around dinner time, and did not have time to eat before going to the event. My RoadTrip LXE was perfect and easily portable which allowed me to grill. A local reporter saw me using it and was amazed and wrote a story that featured me grilling.

Must have for Tailgating and Camping!

1st time tailgating
I bought this grill in orange to tailgate at Clemson football in SC.
It was my 1st time tailgating and I did not know a thing about it.
I was not disappointed. Th grill set up in minutes and I had no trouble lighting it.
We tailgated for breakfast as it was an early game. We cooked on the 1/2 griddle/ 1/2 grate. The hardest part was not burning the food because the griddle and grate really warmed up fast.
Cleanup was easy too and now we’re ready for our next game.

Perfect for camping!
This grill is great for camping. I bought the full size griddle that swaps in, in place of the standard grill top. Bacon and eggs are a cinch and easy cleanup! I also bought an extender hose that hooks right up to my camp trailer, so instead of using small propane bottles, I can use the large one the trailer uses.

Do not buy unless you like the plastic parts to melt off and burn you everytime you try to cook something.

Two warranty issues out of the box!!
Purchased the grill 5/22/2018 and picked it up today, 5/23/18. First issue: the right side table wouldn’t pullout. A bent spring was keeping it from sliding out so replacement part was authorized. Second issue: the igniter didn’t work, it didn’t click and no spark at all, new igniter authorized. Both to be shipped and should be received in 7 to 10 business days! Looks like I may have gotten a “lemon!” Works great using a MATCH though.
