Used with Swaner Hardwood 1x6 African Mahogany also purchased from Home Depot to create beautiful wainscot on staircase wall.

I have been buying this mahogany for a couple years. On top of the price going up over 20% in the last 2 years, the quality has gone down. The last few boxes had boards with significant voids in them. I can't use them when the edges crumble due to voids. Starting to look for a new source for quality wood for my laser.

I need a solid and even core plywood for my artworks and after searching everywhere, I found the Columbia ply. After putting it through my laser cutter, it performed flawlessly. No gaps in the core, even thickness (critical for lasering) and great finish on the cutting edges. While building a dovetailed blanket chest out of solid African Mahogany, I needed a piece for the bottom panel. I ordered the Columbia Forest Mahogany plywood (This listing was for the 3/4" plywood but has since changed...) and it was really nice, especially for the money and how fast it was delivered. There were no voids on the different layers of the plywood and the faces of the veneer were spotless. Color was great and took the varnish really well. Highly recommend and will be buying again when I need Mahogany plywood.

Used this product for a laser engraving project. It was perfect. Easy to cut and finish. The project came out absolutely beautiful.

This is a great looking wood. I found with out a vary fine tooth blade, this wood seems to develop a splintered edge. My self I did not run into voids so much as the other reviewer did who has issues, but I did run in to a different issue. Upon cutting it i seemed fine at first, but then warped over night and not like a little warp but a crazy fun house warp. we had to cut a entrance way and 2 ' windows' out So we glued it down to a second sheet with gorilla glue, and let them set over night with the weight of cinder blocks on it. upon removing the cinder blocks, it just popped off the ground, like ha ha, you did not stop my warp. and it was warping in different directions at the same time. so around the doorway we screwed in place 2 x 2 's and 3/4 inch plywood aground the windows and all of the sides had to be screwed into place. In the end it worked, but for all of the extra work, due to its warping, it was both the first and last time ever using this product. This is the wood with the green door in it in the picture. I used it for the first wooden bearded dragon house I ever built. For all of the head achs, I would go with a nice 3/4 or 23/32 AC plywood in the future and did.

Mahogany is not available locally and not at all Home Depot stores, I used it to make a case for a serving set I made for my wife, the wood is a bit more expensive than the other woods carried by Home Depot but the results are astounding. My resultant project is absolutely beautiful everyone that has seen it has asked if I'd consider making them one.
