Hi, I would not recommend any of our plywood for an outdoor application.
What is the temperature resistance of this plywood? will bonded layers be affected by repeated heating of up to 180 F?
The integrity of the wood will be fine. The only thing to be aware of is there may be some discoloration of the wood at high heat levels – well over 250 degrees.
Are the core woods hardwood? I'm in Los Angeles if that makes a difference.
The core substrate is Poplar. Only the decorative layer on the face and back of the panel are Maple. The ¾” panel will be 7 ply including the Maple on face and back. 5 thick layers of Poplar and 3 thin layers of Maple.
What is the Janka rating of this plywood?
