New install heater keeps shutting down
I have installed a new CZ220 in my garage and it keeps shutting down after about fifteen/twenty minutes. If I rotate the on/off switch it will start back up. My first thought would be that it is overheating and the sensor is shutting it down. It does this in all three modes, 3K, 4K, and 5K however there is a considerable run time difference between the 3K and 5K setting. Two car garage, twelve foot ceiling, sheet rock and insulated. Mid Minnesota area, cold and snow. Standard two wire plus ground 10AWG solid core wire, 2 pole 30 amp breaker, 240 volt at the heater. I have a second heater that I will be installing in the opposite corner latter today, totally separate circuit.

      Weak Fan!!!!
OK Unit, but the fan isn't that great. Whoever engineered this thing should of seen that upon R&D testing. Shame on them! I have no problem paying an extra $50 for a decent blowing fan. Heat output seems good. In all fairness, I'm not fully insulated in the garage, but the fan definitely doesn't blow hard. I use in conjunction with a propane bullet heater for now. I'll know more next year when my collar ties are insulated. Only have walls done at this time.

      Great Deal!
found this online and just had to grab it! noticed the price went up fromk when I bought mine.... absolutely love it! I added a spst 24 Volt sequencer to mine and connected an external 24 volt thermostat to the system, works great! the internal thermostat failed after 1 month... this is definetly a generic unit..... noticed several brands using the same chassis.... and specs. would buy on again if I ever needed to....

I like the heater. I read a lot of reviews on the Home Depot site. One thing the reviews pointed out was the fan bracket wasn't screwed in properly. This was true on mine too. I removed the rear grating, or screen, and then tightened down the sheet metal screws that hold the fan bracket on the main structure. After that, everything has worked well and quietly. One thing I don't like is that the heater doesn't have an ON/OFF toggle switch. It has a dial on/off/termerature adjustment knob. There's a small click when it goes from off to on, but I'd like a toggle switch for ON/OFF and a separate temperature knob. The heater has a "power indicator" light. This only tells you that it's got power, not that it's ON or OFF... and again I'll voice my dislike of one knob for ON/OFF/Temperature.

          Handy Heater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved from Illinois, to South West Georgia. We received this handy Heater, to try out, and it is going to go great in my husband's new "Mancave". We look forward to mounting it up on the rafters of the cave for when we have those after dark cool gatherings with family & friends. This heater will help take the chill off of our guests!

Spent 3 to 4 days of all my spare time wiring up a sub-panel and getting this heater mounted and wired.....and it appears to be DOA. Nothing. Has correct power to the lugs inside the heater, and is pretty dang simple, but does nothing when I turn the thermostat knob. Waiting for a callback from Intertek....

No Tech support - Good luck if you have an issue!
Manual downloaded from site prior to purchase had a more recent revision date than manual that came with heater, and had conflicting directions and dimensions. Called number in manual at least 10 times over 2 weeks to clarify. Same recording each time.."No tech service available, leave name, number, email address".

              Love this heater
This is a great price and straight forward to install. I have an attached 1 car garage, sheet rocked in and it makes the space plenty warm to work on a car in a Pennsylvania winter (so not sub zero for days on end).
