      A:  I think so. I was only on U.S. Navy ships. These hooks were not around in WW2.

        A:  I do not see why they would not be able to be used on a cruise ship I would imagine you just have to take them off before you leave and they Come off easy if you do it right

          Great for storing food wraps

            Left damage on wall
            I used these for only 6 months to hang up some small purses, and when I moved out of my apartment, they ripped the paint off the wall. I took them off VERY carefully and slowly, and there was still a ton of damage and now I am being charged by my apartment complex.

              Disappointed
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a rental townhome. I thought I could use these to hang a Swiffer in the laundry room (up off the floor). Unfortunately, no success. There is no flexibility with the hook to secure the swiffer and no flexibility with the hole of the swiffer to secure in place. It just balances on top of the hook.

We are sorry to hear that you were not able to get the hook to work in the handle opening to hang your Swiffer in your laundry room. We have several different styles of hooks to be able to support both weight and different functions. We would recommend trying our Commandâ„¢ Large or Medium Wire Hooks, as the design is a thinner profile and maybe able to fit through the handle opening better.                 Impressed!
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the value pack so I could hang them in my 5 year old's room at an appropriate height for him to put his coats, sweatshirts, backpacks, etc. on. They've been tolerating his rough usage for over a year now and are still holding up! No wall damage even though he hangs on them more than he should. Will definitely be using more of these around the house in the future.
