Q:Shouldn't the LED indicator light stay on when the switch is on? My switch works fine both manually and via the app but the LED indicator only flashes once when switching on/off.

Not reliable product
Installed 4 switches. 2 switches were stopping to connect the next day. Removed switchs from app and added again to Hubspace BUT still not working. Bluetooth is the joke; NOT working at all. Bought more 10 switches but will be back to the store soom.

Love It!
We’ve been using smart lights for a few years, but until this switch, they weren’t the best for our guest rooms. Guests don’t want to worry about using our smart lights. This switch is perfect because it operates exactly like any other plain switch while retaining full smart control of the lights. The only thing we’d add is dimming capability which this switch does not do. Other than that, it’s pretty close to perfect and everyone is happy with it.

Smart Swith, Easy to Install, Neutral Wire Required
I installed the Commercial Electric Smart Hubspace 10 Amp Single-Pole Specialty Light Switch with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology, White to control my kitchen LED Lights.
I use Alexa to control this Smart Light Switch mostly using the voice command.
Although you can also pre-set on/off schedules via the Hubspace app I don't use that as it's being used for kitchen.
It is very easy to install but you do need the Neutral wire. Only works in a single-pole setup. I had to do the hard work of disabling my 3-way wiring to make this work...but not that bad. I like it. This is a different brand of Smart switch then what I have in 2 other rooms but they all work about the same.

Simple to install, easy to pair, real mechanical (not solid state) relay inside
I have only one switch in my first floor bathroom that turns on both lights and fan. So I can't replace it with a smart dimmer. There are special smart fan motor controllers, but they can't control led lights on the same circuit as they change frequency to control split capacitor motor speed. This switch uses Hubspace app that can be linked to google home or Alexa. I already have 2 devices managed by this app. The reason I wanted to put smart switch there is because kids are constantly forgetting to shutoff the light there and fan pumps out warm air from the house. Unfortunately this switch has only schedules, timer has to be activated manually from your phone every time you turn on the light. I hope next version of the app will have that very basic functionality. Indeed hubspace occupancy dimmer has inactivity timer settings. For now I linked it to google home and plan to export it to IFTTT. You can manage for up to 5 devices for free in IFTTT. So I will setup applet timer to shutoff light automatically if it doesn't turned off within 15 minutes. This switch is very easy to install and pair. Even if you loose QR code it can be reconnected via Bluetooth/Wifi. It has small LED in switch pedal. Unfortunately it doesn't turn to serve as a locator light when switch is shutoff. But you can configure it to stay on when switch is on. Switch case doesn't have vent holes or radiator. This because circuit inside doesn't dissipate a lot of heat. Mechanical relay is a good choice if used with electric motors. Solid state relays put additional strain on fan motor during start-up and may induce surge during shut down. Package also contains wire connectors, ground wire extension and screw-less faceplate. Rectangular hole face plates fits as well.

Easy to Install
Something I like to have the ability to do is turn lights off/on in other rooms when needed. Some of our light switches are not located in the best location which is why I wanted to switch them out for a smart switch. The commercial electric smart switch is super easy to install. Please make sure you know what to do and are comfortable with electrical wires before installing. The look of the smart switch is a modern looking paddle with cover plate. I wasn't able to test out the Alexa or Google Home feature since I do not own either of those. Connecting to my phone was simple. Something to note is that this specific smart switch will only work for a light controlled by one switch. If you have a light that can be controlled in two or three different locations, such as stairs, you will need to get a different smart switch. I will be getting more of these to put in all the rooms of our new home.

Good looking smart switch
I recently got this Commercial Electric Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled Smart Light Switch to use on my front entryway lights so that i could have them come on when im not around. This switch allows you to control your lights via the app from wherever you are. There is No hub required and it is compatible with Alexa and Google assistant that allows you to use your voice to turn on or off. Another great option is you can also pre-set on/off schedules via the Hubspace app for Android or iPhone. This smart switch installs as easily as a traditional light switch and it works in a single-pole setup only and DOES require a neutral wire to power the smart light switch which a lot of older homes may not have so check your wiring first. The faceplate pops on the front to hide the screws for a clean look, not to sure how hard this will be to remove when the time comes. The switch is a good alternative to needing a smart bulb in your fixtures. I would recommend this if you want connectivity in a small easy to use package.

So handy to have
I found this to be a well constructed light switch with simple and clear
install instructions. After the installation the set up with Alexa was
quick and easy. The white color of this switch matched my existing wall
plates and switches perfectly. The rocker switch operates quietly
without that load click that some other switches have. I am happy with
this purchase and would hesitate to buy again.

Smart Switch Installed
The Commercial Electric Smart Hub space 10 Amp Single-Pole Specialty Light Switch with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Technology White (Single Pack) Instruction was clear enough for me to install , Turned my light on , then cut power breaker off to shut off the light , then unscrewed and pulled out old switch , THE CHECKED WITH POWER TESTER to make sure the power was off for safety , Hooked house wire black to Line wire on switch then load red wire to white , Neutral And Ground to bare cooper ground , Inserted in wall , mounted , the plate , Follow instruction to download hub app on smart phone , then connected to Alexis for voice command to work light in my house , A good Lazy Man or hands free switch , See Attached Pictures ..

So far so good
I installed this in my garage so I can control the lights remotely when needed. So far the functionality is as expected where I can turn ON and Off the light using my phone. I also paired the switch with Alexa and it paired without any issues. Now I can also control the lights by asking Alexa to turn ON and Off the lights. The installation is standard where you have four wires with neutral, ground, line and load.
