Perfect for my Garage Battery Charging Station
I've got a shelf in the garage dedicated to various battery chargers - different brands of 12v-60v tool batteries, plus smaller assorted rechargeable flashlights, etc. This surge-protected outlet strip is a great way to be able to keep all the different chargers ready to go. Just plug it in, screw it down (if you wish) and you've got 7 outlets at the ready. This includes decent spacing to be able to fit multiple plugs side-by-side. Plus it has an overall power switch if you want to power everything down quickly.

Great Surge Protector
The Commercial Electric 8 ft. 6 Outlet Metal Surge Protector, Gray Is useful in any setting. I use it for around the shop as it is high quality and has surge protection built into the 6 outlet protector. It has an on/off switch that can shut all items plugged in on or off. I do recommend this surge protector as it is rugged and safe for all plugged in items that draw up to 15 amps each.

This was the perfect appliance for powering several electronic components. I recently installed a shelf in a closet to consolidate the location of our modem, dvr, and an HDMI transmitter. After looking at all the devices available at our local H.D., this one offered surge protection, an 8 foot cord, and space for plug in transformers. Mounting to the wall was easy. It has LED indicators to verify ground and protection.
