A:  never use anything for outdoors unless the box says "for outdoor use", electrical or not. And most of the time NOT!

A:  there is no straight forward in electrical. You have to know what your doing and know the lingo, compatibility, if and's and but's. It might work, but u need to do this or that or add this for it to work.

A:  Hi David, This item is not needed for our LED strips. It can be used but it is not needed. If you want a simple solution, all you need are the LED strips. We have several different LED strip models you can search for. Model #'s 17898, 17066, 17067, 17068. If you need additional assistance once you purchase the strips, you may contact our customer service line at 800-388-6141.

A:  It is not recommended because it has a dimmer potentiometer to the weather without any protection
