Can you check capacitors?
The unit does not have a dedicated capacitance test mode, however capacitance can be checked using the resistance/ohms measurement mode. To test a capacitor with a resistance (Ohms) setting on a multimeter: First, discharge the capacitor safely. Set the multimeter to a high resistance range (or), connect the probes, and look for low resistance that gradually rises to infinity (or OL).
How do I get mod mas830b to beep
Select the diode/Audible continuity test on the meter. When the resistance is lower than 50Ω the meter will beep.
How to test for continuity
To test for continuity, turn the dial to the audible continuity/diode test selection (see pg. 5 of user manual) and place the test leads on either end of the cable or component in question.
What is the MINIMUM AC voltage the meter will read? 12 volts AC? 24 volts AC?
This is only accurate to 0.001 volts if your total voltage is under two. I just received lithium batteries from China that have a voltage of 3.31, and I have to use the 20 volt setting which reduces the accuracy to .01

Why does the word bad come across screen on commercial electric multi meter
Dear Customer, the "BAD" word is for the battery status indication when it switches to battery posistion and test battery. If the battery is in bad status, it will show " BAD" to indicate the battery need to be replaced.
How do you measure the voltage output of a TENS device with a frequency of 10 K and a pulse width of 100 microseconds?
