Why are mu lights flickering on/off - Live in Illinois - cold/snowy. Both lights are on timers. ...

Sorry about the flicker. And, if both of your lights are flickering--and flickering at the same time--and they are on the same circuit it is doubtful that the problem is with the lights. So my suggestions will turn to troubleshooting the circuit. There are several possibilities: 1. There is a loose connection somewhere in the circuit (plug-in socket, timer, chord to the light). Double check all connections. 2. There is an intermittent short in the circuit. If any connection in the circuit is in the snow, then any snow or water that gets into any plug connection can cause a short. You should wrap each connection in plastic wrap and elevate it above the snow/water. 3. If you are using an extension chord, then #2 above is imperative, especially if the plug connection has multiple plug-ins that can easily collect water. 4. If the extension chord insulation is cracked or broken, either replace it or wrap the cracks with tape. In any case, elevate it above the snow....or replace the extension chord and elevate it above the snow.. 5. Finally, there is a remote possibility that both timers are either faulty, or they have a feature that causes flickering. Check them out. The instructions should help. Good Luck Charlie

What is the voltage

Standard 120 VAC.

Any tips on how to connect these together?

First, put the lights where you want them. You will be using multiple extension chords connected to each other to power the lights. Plan so that the length of each extension chord should reach from one light to the next. Purchase additional extension chords as required. Now, plug in the first extension chord to the power supply and stretch it to the first light. Plug in the first light...and the second extension chord. Stretch the second extension chord to the second light. Plug in the second light to the second extension chord...and the third extension chord. Continue this process until all lights are plugged in to the string of extension chords. Plug in the first extension chord to power, and all lights should come on. You can add a timer to system that turns power on at dusk and off after a selected duration. Now, to protect each connection of light/extension chord from weather and ground water, cover or wrap each connection with a heavy plastic wrap or outdoor tape (Gorilla tape or similar). You can also elevate each connection that may get submerged in water after a rain by using a small board or brick or similar. Finally, enjoy your new lighting system.

These fixtures are sealed and does not have light bulb, you will not be able to change to different light. However, Home Depot has SKU1004348771-PORTABLE LANDSCAPE LIGHTHOLDER - BRZ, it is the similar construction but without any light source so you can use your choice of color light bulb.

I would check the load in your breaker, you may have added too much wattage per breaker.

I purchased 12 of these lights for my Christmas Yard Display. They shine nice and bright with a nice white without the blue that some LED lights have. They were perfect!

LOW COST - Under $10.00 per Unit This is an inexpensive method of adding landscape lighting to your home's exterior WITHOUT having to install an expensive, low-voltage transformer system. If you have an outdoor-rated electrical outlet, you can quickly install several of these exterior lighting fixtures in less than five minutes. Depending on the lot size and geographical location of your residence, six to ten of these light fixtures could adequately provide landscape lighting to both your front and back yards. LOW-WATTAGE and "WARMISH" LIGHT This light fixture uses 7 watts of energy. It provides a "kind of" a warm light -- around 3000°k is my guess. However, I would prefer residential landscaping lighting in a lower 2500°k to 2700°k range to give more "warmth" to the landscape. I'm considering attaching an inexpensive studio-lighting gel to the exterior lens of the fixture to reduce kelvin temperature for warmer lighting. LIGHT OUTPUT The manufacturer states 550 lumens of output. Judging the fixture a couple of hours after sundown, the manufacturer's claim of 550-lumens seems accurate. I live in the Sonoran Desert about 40 miles outside of the metropolitan area Phoenix, AZ. The night skies in my location are "relatively" dark, as compared to the much brighter suburbs of Central Phoenix. However, since I am a supporter of the "Dark-Sky Movement," I'm concerned the 550-lumen output from a single lighting fixture may be too bright for my particular needs. However, if you live near or within a large metropolitan area that has bright street lights and existing lighting from the business community, 550 lumens may be perfect for your needs -- especially from a "home security" perspective. SMART PLUG OPTION I connected this fixture using a waterproof TP-Link KP-400 SMART outdoor plug. Therefore, controlling this light's on/off state remotely or scheduling hours of operation became a simple smartphone programming process. PHOTOCELL OPTION If you are interested in lighting your yard dusk-to-dawn, but you don't want to use smart plug technology, I suggest connecting the fixture to an inexpensive, outdoor-rated photocell outlet -- like the Defiant 1250-Watt Outdoor Light Sensing Timer (Model # TM142DOLBD), which lists for less than $10.00 at Home Depot. QUALITY & VALUE I find the fixture of good-to-excellent quality. The unit's low price makes adding several fixtures affordable. LIGHTING SAMPLES I included two photos to show the lumen (brightness) output. The photos show the result of a single, 7-watt fixture.

We bought this light to illuminate our front door Halloween display. We have a paver driveway and it isn't easy to put up a temporary spot light for this purpose. I placed this light in a flower pot and it can easily be adjusted to highlight the display. I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 because I wish the cord were a little longer. But it works perfectly and I'm pleased with the result. I've attached a picture.
