Broke after 3 uses.
I was not happy with this from the beginning because it seemed cheaply made and I did not care for the alert. When the unit started getting finicky about coming on, I checked the batteries and found that one of the battery terminals was broken off. Not happy.

Top keeps coming off...otherwise a great tester
Would be a 4 or 5 star tester if not for the top coming off all the time. Exchanged 3x and all 3 the top comes off after about 2 weeks of use. The sensitivity adjuster is excellent and the update to the design is great but that one flaw is annoying.

Worst tester ever
Broke after a week of use and I didn’t even use it that much. And only noticed when I went to change the batteries and the batteries came dead.
