Answer This Question
A:Â Hello. Thank you for your question. MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is a composite panel product typically consisting of cellulosic fibers combined with a synthetic resin or other suitable bonding system and joined together under heat and pressure. The surface is flat, smooth, uniform, dense and free of knots and grain patterns. The consistent density profile of these panels allows intricate and precise machining and finishing techniques for superior finished MDF products.

The panel cuts cleanly. It's solid, stable, and smooth. My only complaint is the size being one inch over in each direction. For many uses (including mine), having to cut the panel down to 4x8 is a pain.
