Trubord 4 ft. x 8 ft. square edge panels are ideal for the construction of residential single and multi-family houses as well as light commercial construction and modular mobile homes. Trubord rated structural panels are manufactured using wood strands and waterproof adhesives and do not contain added urea-formaldehyde resins. The wood strands are arranged in cross-oriented layers to provide strength and performance properties similar to equivalent thicknesses of plywood. The result is a structural engineered wood panel that is consistent in quality with no core voids. No special tools are required to work with the panels. Trubord sheathing, with a grade stamp, are certified by the APA (The Engineered Wood Association) to ensure the quality is built-into every panel and that it meets North American building codes.
APA rated structural panel ideal for roof or wall sheathing
Panel is sized to allow 1/8 in. spacing for installation
Trubord is available as SFI chain of custody certified upon request
A:Â Yes, but you have to make sure you put it on thick to cover all the nooks and crannies.

A:Â I am not sure, I'm not a painter.
I would put a coat or two if used exterior.
I hope that helps.

A: Yes, it can be painted. I used interior latex paint. It will absorb more paint than Sheetrock. Don’t expect a smooth surface. I used it in an unfinished basement to keep the insulation intact. I also used screws to attach instead of nails.Â

22 dollars 2 1/2 years ago
The cost is outrageous for this now, when the cost was only 22 dollars 2 1/2 years ago. What justifies the huge price jump over a couple years? People went though a trough year and I don't see
how the price drops back down from this over priced product. It's not plywood and they're seeking the same cost, that was the whole point of OSB, but when the prices are so close, why not just opt for plywood. Home Depot, you can do better than this!!!!
