I bought one of these for my outdoor faucet that faces the street just for my peace of mind. The installation was easy and from what I could tell, it is secure. The problem I have with this product is the lock. I put this on my faucet in February and hadn't touched it at all after that. I happened to go check it two months later and the lock is already rusting. The key mechanism was already getting difficult to use. For a product that is designed for outdoor use, this is really unacceptable. The other components appear to still be in good working condition so hopefully getting a properly designed 3rd party lock will resolve this problem. If you get this product, plan to invest in a different lock.

Doesnt work
Metal piece that lock is placed into was slightly bend making it lock itself in place. This allowed the person to just turn it right off with lock and all. Dont waste your money.

This product will stop unauthorized use of your water supply. I work out of town so this is a must have. The Easy “no tools needed” for installation is great. I’ve had it several months now and water bills are already down. This device has exceeded my expectations and I recommend this to anyone that needs to secure their garden hose connection. Everything’s included and will attach to regular hose Bibbs and can be easily removed.

Padlock is cheap and didn't work
Just purchased this and the hose bibb cover works and looks fine. Invest in a real lock.
