Great cutting saw, however the extensions don’t stay locked in place. I need to return it for another one, and hope that the one I bought was just a fluke.

Easy to use, works nicely to cut hard to reach limbs. Wish it could fold the blade down to store it.
This pole saw works really well. The lopper is super smooth and easy to use. The little shepherds crooks on either side of the blade make it easy to keep the saw on the limb you're cutting. The pole + blade fully extended is 16 feet long from the tip of the blade to the bottom of the pole, so add ~4-5 feet to that for your legs and however high you can hold the thing, and that is how high you can reach to cut a tree limb down. I only cut limbs from fairly big trees, but if you try to cut limbs from skinnier trees, I could see the saw jumping around a bit and making it difficult to cut. As long as the tree trunk is pretty sturdy, this saw should work pretty well. As I stated, the lopper is really nice. The mechanical advantage you get with the pulley system makes it super smooth. It cuts through limbs like a knife through hot butter. Super easy! I also like the rectangular shape of the saw frame. This adds some vertical rigidity to the handle while you're cutting and I think helps keep the blade from bouncing out of the groove while cutting. The only thing I wish the saw did better was storage. I wish the blade could fold down or otherwise be attached to the handle (perhaps with a blade cover) to make storage easier. The package came with one extra part that seems like it is some sort of friction cleat to hold the rope or something, but I have no idea how to attach it to the pole, and there is no mention of it in the parts list on the package or the instructions for assembly. Overall, it's a nice saw and functions really well. I do wish the blade could stow away connected to the pole itself better, and I was a little confused about the extra part that came with it, so I docked one star.

Lightweight and Extra Long Pole Saw
There are three things that I really like about this pole saw. First of all, it is extremely lightweight because it is made of aluminum. I have an old pole saw with a wood handle that I stopped using because it was just too heavy and unwieldy when I had to work with taller trees. When I use this saw, I don't have that problem. Second, it has a 16' reach, which is ideal for most of the trees that I have in my yard. That means I can trim/prune my trees without climbing on a ladder. Finally, this saw provides the option of using a saw blade together with a pruner or using just the pruner itself. The saw blade will cut limbs up to 7" in diameter and the pruner will handle limbs up to 1". For most homeowners, this pole saw should fit most of their needs. Corona makes great products and they back them up with excellent customer service. Several years ago, one of their saw blades broke due to metal fatigue. I contacted them, explained the problem, and they quickly sent me a new saw - no questions asked. Hard to beat that kind of service. Highly recommend this company and its products.

The Corona 16-Foot Aluminum Tree Saw and Pruner. The saw is more advanced with quick-connect features. The saw has triple-ground teeth that cut limbs up to 7 inches in diameter. With the insulated grip for all-day comfort and dual-saw hooks for improved control. the telescoping pole extends up to 16 feet to access hard-to-reach limbs. The pruner will cut a branch up to 1 inch in diameter. It comes with a lifetime warranty guaranteeing season-after-season use. The pole saw is an essential tool for the average landscaper which takes no electricity or fuel, just some elbow grease.

Very nice
I have to be completely honest, this tree limb trimmer is really heavy duty. It’s made with some excellent/quality materials. It’s definitely going to last you a long time. It has a really good weight to it so that when you’re cutting off a branch, it makes a lot easier. It also extends to reach those really tall limbs. Just press the button and it slides right out with ease. One of the very cool features is that you can remove the saw blade if you’re just trimming some small limbs. Im really impressed with this tool , all around easy to use. The rubber grips make it easy to hold (very comfortable) It’s definitely worth your hard earned money .

The blade is professional in that it cuts on the pull motion and does not get jambed on the push motion. The extension is easy and the locking action is solid

Broke in the first hour of use. Thought spending twice as much as we did for the Fiskars would be better. But nope.

    Terrible Quality
I bought this pruner thinking the price was indicative of quality...and I was wrong. I couldn't even make it through the first cut because the handle kept collapsing. The mechanism that locks the telescoping handle in place is very poorly designed; it's just a tiny ball bearing glued/molded into a plastic stem with an equally pathetic spring. I returned this and bought a Stihl pruner because it was only $20 more and infinitely better quality.
