Questions & Answers

What is the thickness of this product, and what is recommended way to fasten it.

Asked by: fredandbarb
I wanted to adhere this to sheet rock in my garage. I found the best was a spray can of 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive. I wiped the wall with a damp rag first. I tested using both recommended methods of spraying just the plastic sheets and spraying both surfaces. Let both dry until tacky, then attach the Coroplast Corrugated Plastic Cardboard sheets to both test spots, and firmly pressed. I waited maybe a half hour and both methods adhered well. Spraying both surfaces adhered the strongest, but when I removed the "test" patches both removed the paper from the sheet rock. The glue did not come or peel off the plastic "test" patches. The spray glue did not melt or disfigure the plastic either. So I would say this was the glue that worked the best adhering to the smooth plastic surface.

According to the image, and the stuff I've seen before, the flutes run the long side, so 96 inches end to end.

would it block out light?

I need a something that placed in a window frame would block out light as would corrugated brown cardboard. Will this stuff do the trick?
Asked by: mikael
It will filter light, like frosted glass. So, let's call it translucent. With the right paint, however, it could be opaque and block light.
