Q:Does the cord detach from both base and handheld portion so that a longer cord can be used?
by|Sep 28, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Although it detaches from both ends, the phone has a non-standard jack and can use only the cord that came with it. The opening on the phone is too small for a standard cord

Q:does it have a volume on/off switch?
by|Oct 23, 2019

Answer This Question

A:  You can almost see the little switch in this photo. On the upper left of the phone face, just below the on/off bar for answering calls, there are two little sliding buttons: the one on the left is for ringer HI-LO-OFF. (The one on the right is for switching from Tone to Pulse modes.) On the side of the phone (right side, facing away from viewer) is a volume control for voice.

Q:Does this phone have an on off button that doesn’t need to be on a cradle?

    Answer This Question

A:  No, the on/off button of the phone is really on the cradle.

    by|Mar 9, 2019

A:  This phone does not need a cradle. A bar above the number pad is pressed to call, answer, or hang up. The on/off bar is well located and secure -- I have not had a problem with accidental off-the-hook or hang-ups.
