I love this humidifier. I chose this specific one because of the reviews and the fact that the parts can be washed in the dishwasher. It makes a pleasant soft consistent sound, and you have a choice as to whether you want the light on or not. We have 3 now, it was so helpful when my 2 boys and I had Covid. We were so stuffy and the air here is so dry. It made it so much more comfortable. The cool mist is better than the warm, as it helps shrink the swollen sinuses. Very happy. You can also add essential oils if you like. You can’t ask for more!

No constant flow
The flow of humid air is intermittent and there is very little flow, so I can only assume the product I received is faulty or the product is so finicky it’s not worth it. This is a brand new product, right out of the box. Will return.

Great features for a humidifier!
I was so excited to get to try out the Crane Cool Mist Top Fill Humidifier and Diffuser. During the winter months in the midwest we always wake up congested and often with dry noses. Adding a humidifier to our bedroom helped to alleviate these winter side effects. It was a little bigger than I had envisioned but I realized it is because it is for Medium to Large rooms when I had previously been used to smaller Crane products. The top fill feature was super easy to use. We filled it up in our attached bathroom via the bath tub and I wasn't worried about dripping water as I brought it back to my room. I adore that it has the option to be used as a diffuser. We have added our favorite holiday scents to make our home feel even cozier. My kids were fascinated by the color changing light option, which is great to act as a night light. The instructions recommend that you not use on certain surfaces so we placed it on a flat plate to protect our wood dresser. Overall the controls on the front are easy to understand and use. We'll probably move it more permanently to a larger room and will likely utilize the diffuser option a lot!

Amazing Humidifier
I received the Crane top fill humidifier and was excited to try it out. It’s lightweight, a very nice color that will blend in with any decor. It has to be filled from the top which is a plus and there is no filter so cleaning is a breeze. It also allows you to add essential oils and really help keep my room comfortable during the winter months especially when the heat is on as the air gets dry.

Demineralized Water Required
This humidifier works great for our needs! We have allergies and asthma in our house. Plus, we live in the super dry Southern California Desert. Using the humidifier helps to improve our breathing so much. It's easy to use too since you don't have to flip the unit around or anything like traditional humidifiers. The top fill also makes it way easier to clean because it has a wide opening. This is easily the prettiest humidifier we've ever had. It doesn't look like an eyesore in our house at all. It has multiple settings where you can have some fun LED lights on the top change, stay steady, or have off completely. It also has a couple different levels of humidifying. We've found we have to use distilled water to not have any issues with white dusting. That and the fact that the sensor lights don't fully turn off (only dim) are my only complaints. If you're willing to use demineralized water and don't mind small, dim LED indicator lights, then I'd recommend this. It's easy to use and clean, so those are major bonuses in my book.

Easy to use; Easy to clean
Thank you Crane for this free product! The following review contains my honest opinions.
I have used a variety of the Crane humidifiers: the traditional drop humidifiers, the newer smaller drop humidifiers with a diffuser slot, the travel humidifier, and now this top fill with diffuser properties. This latest model is by far the easiest to use! I love how easy it is to fill : lift the top and pour in the water. I love how easy it is to clean: the top three pieces are dishwasher-safe and the inside chamber is completely accessible to be wiped down!
There are a few features that I don’t utilize often, however I thoroughly see the value in: you are able to add a few drops of aromatherapy oils to the chamber therefore eliminating the need to use two separate machines; this humidifier comes with a very impressive nightlight feature which would work great for a nursery setting.
Now there are two points on which I feel slight concern: 1) the nightlight feature cycles through a variety of colors and I personally would prefer to be able to have more control over the color options 2) on the traditional drop humidifiers, there is an adjustable knob for the mist speed, on the smaller drop humidifiers there are setting buttons to control the mist speed, but on this humidifier there is no control over mist speed.
Overall I feel this is the easiest humidifier to use and to clean!

Enhanced Air Quality
I never felt the need for a humidifier until late November - early December. Working from home has left an impactful change on all of us, especially the "stale" and dry air quality from our heating systems. I've letting the humidifier run its course a few hours before bed & I even add some lavender essential oils for aromatherapy! It's been such a pleasure waking up in the morning without chest congestion and the uncomfortable feeling of dryness. I'd also like to add that the lights are a great touch!

Small & Lightweight
I just received this product and we absolutely love it! I have two adult daughters with excema and a younger son that has really bad dry and itchy lips. We live in the PNW and it seems like their only relief is a humidifier. I love this one as it’s so lightweight and not as awkward to hold like some humidifiers. My little boy is still scared of the dark so he loved the color changing light. I also love how easy this one is to clean and I love how we can use essential oils with it.This humidifier is a must
have especially for new parents because it’s easy to fill, easy to clean, lightweight, has a nightlight and can be used with essential oils. The nozzle can also be moved 360° to direct the mist in the direction you want.

Sleek design and cool features
This is a bit larger than I was expecting but fits really nicely in my daughter's room. It's sleek and doesn't clash with any décor. She also doesn't really notice it which for a toddler parent is a plus! There are some really neat features, like a nightlight that is super mellow and a place for essential oils to be diffused with the cool mist. I also really appreciated how quiet this unit was, you can hardly even tell it's on. Definitely a purchase worth the money!

Awesome Humidifier
I’m so happy with this new cool mist humidifier that I bought a month ago! It’s so easy to use & with it’s top fill you don’t have to worry about unplugging it each time and filling it with water. You can leave it in it’s spot & go get water & fill it right up. I don’t wake up dry in the morning now it helps keep my room moist which is so nice in the dry desert that I live in. I Definitely recommend this for bedrooms, living rooms and den or office space.
