A:  Tis unit is designed to be used without a filter, however, we do recommend the use of a filter or distilled water if you have hard water in the home.

      Awesome Humidifier
      Bought this adorable owl humidifier for my daughter’s bedroom & couldn’t be happier. It helps her breathe better & sleep better. She was always waking up dry & now she is good. Easy to use and clean. You take off the top drain the excess water in the sink and then fill it with fresh water. There’s a little brush that you can clean it with about once a week I use vinegar and water and it cleans perfectly.

          Healthier Breathing
          This product is so useful to any age. From my children to my grandmother, I have witnessed a better sleep. We live in Texas where climate constantly changes; the humidifier has reduced their allergies experienced. There is no more coughing at night. Thank You for this product The Home Depot!
