Relieves the hard to reach area that a hammer has no chance in removing a nail.
The 12-inch indexing head nailer puller Crescent Brand is easy, convenient and durable to use. I even had my 10 year old daughter helping me take apart a gate and some wood pallets. I've included a few photos. While the puller is in use, you can tell how well it's designed and made of steel with the hammer head part can take a good beating. I had a bit of a struggle having to remove the pulled nail from the puller. It was well wedge in. Other than that it works great and has 14 different head lock positions for easy access.

Code Red
I love the size of this thing, it provides really great leverage when you need it. The striking point on the back of the claw is excellent and gives me a solid target to bash on. The adjustable head is a cool feature but I usually don't stray much from the typical 90 degree position. I've also found over time the button to adjust the head can get a little tricky to push. It would probably benefit from a little lubrication on my part as it's been exposed to lots of fine dust and grim at this point. My other gripe is that the "handle" gets really marred up over time. The plastic is high quality but just doesn't stand up to concrete/brick if you're prying on that side of the tool. Overall great addition to my demo tools and I would certainly recommend.

A pry bar to end them all!
This is the best pry bar I have ever used! Decent long handle provides plenty of leverage. The key feature is of course the adjustable head that can be moved into a bunch of different positions so that one can get the optimal angle on the work item. Sharp tines make it easy to get into small places and nails are also easily extracted. A simple tool, well designed and durably constructed.

The smartest pry bar in town
This pry bar is heavy at 3.5 lbs and well made. I got it to remove an old deck. I really like the adjustable jaws to wrench the boards to loosen them and then pull the nails without futzing with a second board to prop up the nail puller. The pry bar end not as easy to use. The 16" pry bar is a bit too short for good leverage - I'd recommend the 24" model of this tool if the pry bar will be used a lot. The end of the pry bar is also more blunt than my other pry bars, making it harder to wedge between nailed boards. Finally, you have to hold the pry bar by the nail extractor, a somewhat awkward grip. One other thing I noticed - one of the nails I was pulling was rusty and the head folded up and slipped out of the puller when I tried to extract it. I tried it a couple of more times without success before giving up. At that point I noticed that the edge of the slot in the nail extractor had bent when the nail slipped through, making the slot wider and leaving a rough edge on the underside. The rough edge filed off with a few strokes of the file. The tool has a lifetime warranty, so while I'm going to be careful about pulling nails with bad or small heads, I'll have the tool replaced if the slot widening becomes an issue.

Best tool since the crow bar
This is the most awesome pry bar I have ever used. When I ordered the 18 inch size, I wondered if it would be big enough to do the job. Wow was I ever surprised. This 18 inch pry bar does the work of a 36 inch crow bar and makes it way easy. The positioning head is a real plus. It allows you to move the teeth to an angle that is most comfortable and yet most powerful to pull any kind of nails. I used it to demo lumber from a deck to build a ramp for my shed. I was amazed at how easy it was to pull the nails. A neighbor came over and I let him try it. His first question was where could he get one? He was shocked at how the teeth head moved positions so you could get the best grip on the nails, then how comfortable it was to pull nails. It has a strike plate on the back of the head that allows you to use it like a sledge hammer or a nail driver or a place to hit the head under the nail if it is hiding. It is a great tool and the pivoting head makes it just that much "More Better".

MORE LIKE A MULTI BAR.......
This is a solid, quality made, HEAVY DUTY, 18 inch pry bar that will be hard to do without...... The indexing head is a fantastic idea. You can adjust the angle on the head to suit all your prying needs. I clicked it into position and was able to use it to walk a 2500 lb. surface grinder without a problem. The sharpened tongs will slide easily under almost anything and if they dont you can just get a hammer and pound it in on the machined strike face they provided on the tool. It will also come in handy for holding a 2 x 4 in place for nailing, just twist the head all the way in and it grips a 2 x 4 great....

CADILLAC OF PRY BARS
This has to be the Cadillac of pry bars. Compared to our old well used pry bars, this pry bar is in a class by itself. It is lighter weight, has a padded hand grip, and the head rotates with just a push of a button. That is a stroke of genius. It is hard to imagine that an adjustable head can have as much strength as a rigid head but it does! It has a well thought out design and good looking finish. Cresent can be proud of this tool.

Demolish with Precision
I’ve been using the heck out of this tool ever since it came in the mail. As someone that is more often building new vs. demolishing existing structures, I sure have found a lot of use for this massive pry bar! The adjustable head is the most impressive aspect to this tool. The ability to adjust the angle of attack on something you are trying to pry out is so much more useful than you would ever imagine! And the 36” length means that you have the leverage to take down just about anything with very little effort. Suddenly, massive demolition projects take minutes to knock down with small, precise effort in strategic spots. This results in faster, easier and cleaner demo. Just an awesome tool!
