Are they made in the USA

When there are no photos of the tool showing where it's made, or when it does not boldly state where it is made, or when you have to ask the question and deep in the comments find the actual answer, you can assume it is made in CHI NAH. Crescent, like other major tool brands, has moved manufacturing overseas in hopes of customers believing the brand to be of good quality/reputation and not noticing that quality has since greatly diminished. Go with Wilde or someone else that still supports USA manufacturing.

Perfect for HEX bolts
I spent hours on the internet trying to find an adjustable wrench that would provide 4 points of contact for hex heads nuts and bolts. This is the ONLY one I could find. Another bonus is the serrated edges that provide additional gripping power.

Superior wrench set, gets the job done better. I used the smaller wrench in this set to remove a machine-applied nut on the bottom of a lamp, a job that I have tried previously without success with lesser wrenches. The micro-serrations on the jaws of these wrenches give them the grip needed for success. Everything about the was these were designed and manufactured is of the highest quality, made to last.

Kudos to Crescent for finally delivering wide jaw wrenches without having the elongated handles. The number of times I have had to turn nuts/bolts in tight spaces millimeters at a time because the smaller wrenches did not open up wide enough and the larger wrenches barely fit. These two wrenches are a welcome pair to my arsenal of tools. They have stockier handles able to withstand the torque needed to free up tight bolts.

The hubby was complaining that his old crescent wrenches just weren't gripping well and didn't adjust smoothly, so we got him some new ones. These are awesome! Love that there are two sizes so that you can pick the wrench best suited to the job. The smaller one is also nice because it fits into some close quarters that larger ones just don't work well for. These are super solid and heavy tools that feel like they will wear well for years and years.

Crescent Adjustable Wrench Set (2), 6 Inch and 10 Inch. These wrenches are somewhat different than most adjustable wrenches in that they have serrated jaws for better grip. Both have wide grip capacity. Nice machining job on surface of wrenches. Both have mm and inch markings (laser etched) indicating the width of the jaws. Nice industrial look. Coated to resist corrosion. Thumb rollers easily open and close the jaws.

These two Crescent wrenches are the best wrenches I’ve ever owned. I have other Crescent wrenches but the added features and quality that these two Crescent wrenches have far exceeds my previous Crescent wrenches. I love the extra wide jaw openings and the serrations on the jaws. They are touted as 4X more torque because of the serrated jaws and the better gripping power you get. Another really nice feature is the etched SAE and metric scales on the jaws that allow for easy determination of fastener size. The larger knurl makes for easier adjustment and tighter jaw fit and no binding. All in all you get a heavier duty wrench in a smaller size because of these added improved features. Crescent has come through again. A great company that makes great tools

I just received my crescent brand 6” inch and 10” pack. First off the weight and feel of these tools in your hands is quality. The machining and finish is flawless. The attention to detail like the laser etched scale on the jaw to the serrations also in the jaw. You don’t get that in a regular adjustable wrench. We all call adjustable wrenches “Crescent Wrenches “ because they are the original. Everyone else is a lesser copy. Crescent brand Is still the best and this set has a lifetime warranty.

The Crescent Brand, 6 in. and 10 in. Wide Jaw Adjustable Wrench Set (2-Piece) are adjustable wrenches that will make an excellent addition to my RV tool box for repairing the kids’ bikes to the grill. The wrench handles are a bit shorter and the jaw openings a bit wider than common adjustable wrenches making them more compact for their capabilities and portability. I would likely carry these adjustable wrenches in a tool belt, yet if working as an auto mechanic, I would opt for more conventional adjustable wrenches that were fully chrome plated for easy cleaning and offering greater rust and corrosion protection. The adjusting nut of each wrench tightens the jaws well, the jaws will often grip the fastener so well, the adjusting nut will need to be backed off to remove the wrench from the fastener. In looking around my workshop for a place to show a wrench, I found the casters of my hand truck to be loose and their retaining nuts needing to be tightened.

These adjustable wrenches are promoted as "next level strength" and I would have to agree. I have several adjustable wrenches - some are even Crescent brand, but these are a step above. For starters, they are heavyweight with a black lacquer finish. I really like the extra wide jaw opening - 1 1/8" on the 6" and 1 1/2" on the 10" wrench. The jaws have serrations which help with gripping. The knurl is larger and more heavy duty so it will not let the jaws slip or bind. I really like these wrenches !

These are some hefty Crescent wrenches. I am very pleased with this set of two wrenches. The best thing about them is that they are each adjustable to 1 1/2 " wide. The second best thing is that they are made by Crescent. I have a set of four different wrenches on my tool board and love them. The only problem is that I have to guess how wide they open. Like what size is good for water hose fittings. Not with these. They go from zero to 1 1/2 in a second. They are hefty and have serrated jaws. No more slipping. The only wish I have is that the handles were a little longer. When trying to unbolt a trailer hitch, I couldn't get enough leverage. (I know that is not what they are designed for but I had to try.) Another plus, is that they are easier to carry around. If you are looking for a super strong crescent wrench that will last you a lifetime, these are for you. They will be an excellent addition to your tool collection. The Home Depot does it again.
